    • No Nonsense Splitter
Used to split up green cherry 2/3rds of a cord. Overall not bad for home owner use. Knots and tougher pieces seemed to split just fine. Machine stopped a few times on a few pieces that were gnarly but flipping them and knowing how to follow the grain of wood they split. Wood does slip around a bit for pieces not cut flat. It's a two handed operation machine, no a clamp doesn't work. Not a big deal if you take your time and line up the wood against the splitter not the ram. Remember to open and close the air bleed knob. Motor was not too loud when using. Packaging was good however the wheel on one side was bent, more than likely in shipping. Wheels are not meant for anything other than hard surfaces. You cannot stand this unit on its end for storage as the ram lever is on that end. Overall good purchase long as it lasts. The media could not be loaded. I loved this splitter all the way around wasn’t sure about it because there were no reviews on it but I took the chance and I’m glad I did. Would definitely recommend this to anyone .
