I just started using the ProtoArc Bluetooth Mechanical Keyboard, and my first impression is very positive. The typing feels smooth and responsive, giving that satisfying mechanical feel without being too loud. The Bluetooth connection was quick to set up and has been stable so far, and switching between Mac and Windows is seamless. The build quality feels solid, and the backlighting is subtle and useful—not over the top. Overall, for the price, it feels like a great value. I bought this keyboard to replace the keyboard I had at work. It was as easy as plugging the USB right into to my computer and it was all hooked up. I love have quiet it is and how easy the keys are. The customization is fantastic. You can set up how bright you want the backlight light to be, which keys you want to light up, and if you want the lighting to be constant or "pulsing".     • Way too sensitive
Felt ok. not premium, but definitely not junky. Had all the features I could ever want on paper. Key commands to control additional features made sense. BUT, just brushing past a key registers a keystroke. You cannot set your fingers on the keys without it starting to type. This is no good for me. In many applications I use my left hand for the keyboard commands while navigating with a mouse in my right hand. I had to take my hand away from the keyboard to use it at all. I was also constantly getting multiple inputs for a single keystroke, especially the letter "a" - it would show up 2-3 times every time I clicked it. I tried keychron keyboards with brown and banana switches and they didn't have this problem at ALL. so maybe the red switches + keyboard build are creating this issue? Maybe it's intentional? either way, I can't train myself to not touch the keyboard so it's a no-go. ... show more
