  • lots of mistakes.
Format: Kindle
Several Time I noticed mistakes in quantities etc. Not good proof reading. Also at the end noticed a distinct prejudice for hydrogen power over all other sources .

I pick this book for my 2024 choices and I'm glad I did. This information was well put together and if followed along with other source of information and Internet connection surfing capabilities, would definitely take you to a higher level of understanding.

  • Very good book for Engineering Fundamentals
Format: Paperback
I have a mechanical engineering degree, but this book is very helpful to learn about the basics broken down, and to see how they build up together. This book talks about different subjects on every page, and has the breakdown of the fundamentals and how systems work but while using these fundamentals as building blocks. There are specifics such as turbines, engines, power generation, etc. This book is incredibly helpful! ... show more

  • Okay book about the history of engineering
Format: Paperback
This book has a lot of history about the topic. However, to suggest that you could "master the subject" or that this is "A Degree in a Book" is far from stretching the truth. A few of the concepts are explained, but the majority feel as if they have a definition copied out of an engineering textbook with no simplified explanation. There were also a few typos and grammatical errors. The pictures looked cool but there was not much information as to how they work. Overall this is a book for general information and history about the topic. It will make a decent piece on my bookshelf. ... show more
