I can telework, work from the field, etc., anywhere there's an internet connection, I can get my job done. However. Not having grown up with computers as a natural fact of life, I am unused to a small screen. Those dual monitors at work are a godsend!! I can make do out in the field, or for a quick moment. However, with age, also comes changing eyesight. It's no longer comfortable for me to be only a keyboard's width away from my screen. I need some distance! As my job entails some flexibility, I had purchased a silicone roll-up keyboard so for portability and convenience. It was wonderful! Fit easily in my work backpack. Lightweight. A built-in 10-key pad (I abhor hunting for numbers across the top of the keyboard). The only downsides were that it was corded, and that my fingers didn't glide across the keys as they do on a 'regular' (plastic) keyboard. A coworker saw my silicone keyboard, came to Amazon, and found the ProtoArc XK01 Folding Wireless Portable Keyboard. I had to have one. My co-worker mentioned the battery life when I asked about the keyboard, and I thought, yeah, right. I'll use it more than you do, so there's no way this lasts *that* long. Folks, I am here to tell you that the battery life on this is INCREDIBLE. I ordered this in January 2023. It's now mid-September 2023, and I think I've charged it twice. MAYBE three times in the last eight and a half months. I use the ProtoArc XK01 Folding Wireless Portable Keyboard regularly, and yet sporadically. Depending upon how the day unfolds, I may use it for my entire work day in the field, or it may only be used once for a meeting. Other times, it just lives in my work backpack, ready when I need it. This keyboard (and my mouse) have become indispensable parts of my workday. Pros: - convenient size - BATTERY LIFE (charged three times (maybe two) in the eight and a half months I've had it) - 10-key number pad - ease of use - portability - convenience - USB-C charging port - Bluetooth connectivity to three different devices Cons: - the little feet have come off the bottom - USB-C charging port (depending upon already owned technology) - Bluetooth connectivity to three different devices (if you accidentally hit a button, and can't figure out why your keyboard is no longer working ...) I rated this as five stars because it's become so indispensable to my work life. I was working with a co-worker recently, and needed that distance from the screen. I switched the Bluetooth to setting two, connected to their laptop, and I was able to complete my task much easier! The only issues I've had so far have been that the little rubber feet have fallen off, and the plastic hinge protector on one hinge partially broke. I highly recommend this product!

I was searching for a foldable keyboard that could easily fit in my bag and connect to my Steam Deck. This keyboard did the trick! The design is very solid, with the pieces not loose at all and snapping together very tightly. The functionality is perfect, easily connecting to my Steam Deck and iPhone 16 Pro. There’s virtually no noticeable lag, and the battery life is very solid. I highly recommend this keyboard if you need something portable or want a physical keyboard extension to your devices’ native on-screen keyboard.

I purchased this keyboard for work (I share a desk and the shared keyboard is pretty gross). I like that this keyboard is very light and packs up into a small package to make it ultra portable. Also, having a numerical keypad is a huge plus for work. A lot of people are saying they are having issues with it lagging and such, but i have never experienced that. I’ve charged it once and have been using it for 2-3 weeks without having to charge again (I work 8 hour days). And I make sure to keep it within a close range to my device. Also, people are saying that some keys stop working after a little while. I have not experienced this yet. That being said, this keyboard is a bit fragile, so if you’re heavy handed it may not be the right choice for you. Connecting to devices is very simple and quick. It has some very useful hot keys built in as well (screeenshot, volume +/-, search, Lock Screen, open app viewer, etc). Overall i am very pleased with this purchase because of versatility and price point. It also came with a simulated leather carry pouch and a device kickstand. Key strokes are pretty quiet as well, similar to a laptop. I would buy again and recommend to others. This was typed using the keyboard.

I don’t know what I ever did before I haf one of these. It’s a lifesaver. I was aggravating my carpal tunnel and my declining close-up vision, typing and texting on my phone muliple lenghy messages and other misc. things all day every day. It made no sense. It was so laborious and tedious and time-consuming. But now I own the ProArc, andi it the best thing that’s happened to me for so long. It truly simplified and streamlined my life. It’s so light, portable, functional and user-friendly, not to mention affordable. It fits right in my clutch handbag, and weighs next to nothing. It automatically connects via Bluetooth to up the 3 devices, instantaneously. No having to repeat the pairing process every time. It’s so cool, I just had to buy one for my sister. But I kind of miss my old one because the keys on the new one are a little stiff and sticky. The other one was more used and had looser keys but I’ll break this in too.. My only complaints are the camera button is so close to the backspace button that I inadvertanely snap multiple screenshots every time I use it, and also that I can’t figure out how to start a new paragraph without accidentally sending what I’m writing because “enter” sends it. So I have to use the tab button. There’s probably a solution to this that I simply haven’t taken the 5 min. To investigate yet. Oh yeah, and you can’t not capitalize the next letter following a period, no matter what. (See above, after “5 min.” But all small prices to pay for the ease of use, convenience factor, and the crazy amount of time that I save vs. painstakingly typing out my volumes of words on my phone. Yay!
