I was hesitant to buy this case from reading the reviews. But this is a great case. I prefer a full zipper versus clasps. There is no chance of the case opening and the horn fall out. My other case has 3 latches. The case will protect your horn. It is solid. I am not talking about putting on a plane, but for gigging, it will work great. I bought it for a Armstrong bari, which fits great, but it also will hold my Keilwerth SX-90. I like the case so much that I swapped the Keilwerth to it. I have a pro-tec for my tenor. I have used it for about 15 years, the strap lost a rivet, so I put a screw in the case and it works fine. I am more than pleased with the purchase. It is a solid case and a great value for the money.

I have six Protec Pro Pac cases for my herd of saxophones and I am pleased with them all. They fit my horns like a glove, provide awesome protection and have many pockets and storage areas that come in handy. The materials are top-notch and the construction is outstanding. Obviously a lot of research goes into the designing of these products and they check all the boxes for me. Highly recommended!

The used Baritone sax I bought came with an old case that smelled of mildew. The Protec case was recommended by my Sax technician and it's worth the money. The neck/mouthpiece holder fits inside the bell of the sax and was surprisingly well designed. Exterior compartment has plenty of room for sheet music (without folding it), reeds, cork wax, neck strap, water bottle, etc. All said, I wouldn't trust the airlines (baggage) with my horn in this case. I'd want a hard-shell case before I did that. Also, it fits in the small trunk of a BMW 135i convertible!!! Detailed listing should state exact dimensions.

I bought this to carry my old Buescher Aristocrat baritone. The horn fits well enough, and the case is clearly well made. I expect it will wear as well as the other Protec cases I've bought -- which is to say "well". I'm not too impressed with the padded pouch for the neck and would have preferred to see a fitted compartment inside the case for the neck and mouthpiece as with the tenor and alto Protec cases. Also, the shoulder strap is designed so that it must be removed on one end to open the case. That one makes me scratch my head a bit and it shouldn't have to be that way. Otherwise, it's a great case, lots of storage room in the external pocket, and it clearly protects the horn well -- which is it's primary purpose. If you don't mind the little odd things I just mentioned, it's well worth the money.

It protected my old Bundy well during marching band. The old wood case was falling apart so I needed to get a case that wasn't going to cost $1,000, with that much money, I could sooner buy another instrument. The shoulder strap made it easier to haul around and the instrument sustained no damage getting shoved into a trailer to go to band contests almost every Saturday A very good case at a good price.

Our 14 yo grandson carries his grandfather's 90 yo bari sax back and forth to school on his back in this case. We were looking for a replacement case and this one did not disappoint. Water resistant as well. Inside pieces adjust to secure the horn.
