    • Happy with basic functioning, but unhappy
It's easy to learn. Except that right click, and especially middle click, are somewhat awkward. They are ok. I'm trying to place my grip lower on the mouse, but still wish these buttons were placed higher up. My main reason for deducting stars is that the control panel software doesn't work with USB. The manufacturer says this is coming, but I just paid $149 and cannot use half of the mouse features. 1) With the control panel, presumably, I can swap out the controls, thus making it much easier to access the tilt mouse features I need. 2) The tilt and scroll up/down function goes way too fast, so they are completely unusable. With the control panel software, I might be able to adjust this and use it. 3) The scrollwheel doesn't scroll as much as I want, making it essentially unusable for me. Again that might be fixable for me, however... I would like the scrollwheel to have much less resistance. The grippy texture of the scrollwheel is fine, but I prefer scrollwheels that move without as much pressure (although some of those are too easy to move). I look forward to trying this mouse for longer to see if I feel strain after repetitive use. I am a little worried that I will, but hopeful that it will turn out well. Hopefully I can update my review to 4 stars once I'm able to use the control panel software, and hopefully I won't feel ripped off. I also didn't see any warning about this before buying, and it would have saved me from disappointment if I had known. Edit: I have now used this for weeks, many hours a day. I am updating to add that the mouse stops working roughly four times a day and I have to turn it off and back on. This has been alright with me, but a little confusing and bothersome as I tended to wonder if my software has locked up, my computer, or the mouse. But now I am assuming it's the mouse. It's not happening on a regular basis, i.e. sometimes it will happen twice within a short period, and other times not happen for many hours. This happens even when charged - sometimes after I've charged it for many hours in a row. ... show more

    • Excellent little mouse
I loved this mouse so much I bought a second one! My only complaint would be the desire to see more features - the ability to use without moving the mouse on a surface, another button and I would LOVE a real laser for presenting! However, the features on this mouse are rich and well done for the most part. I use one for a Surface and another for an X1 - would be sweet to have a switch to use one for both as well as a method to tell the two apart as when using them side by side it can get complicated if the two get mixed. It DOES take some time to get used to these and I don't know about using them for an 8 hour computer day nor gaming - but for travel they are excellent. The bad? Only the price. In a world of less priced mice these are on the top end but, hey, I did buy another so I thought it was worth it! ... show more

    • Feature packed mouse
Revolutionary mouse but it does not fit my use cases. Going to stick with my magic trackpad. Firstly, this mouse does not have on-board memory. I cannot install any software on my work mac let alone one that has full input monitoring permissions. I get why it is needed but on-board memory would solve this. Secondly, it is it far too easy to brush up on the scroll wheel when using tilt gestures. Thirdly, the tracking and connection can be improved. I have noticed intermittent lag here and there. Overall, the positives outweigh the negatives for such a unique and feature packed mouse that is different from almost all mice out there. ... show more

    • Difficult, problematic, frustrating product
Pros: 1. The way the product is designed to fit is great. Very light and takes a bit of time to figure out the movements but when you do, it works great. Cons: 1. Pairing was a bit problematic. I decided to use the USB connection to pair the mouse. After a bit of struggle, I was able to pair the device. 2. The mouse scrolling, left and right worked fine, but I wanted to have the 3rd button be the back button. So I downloaded the software to configure the buttons and next thing I know the scrolling is going the opposite direction. The software has a selection to reverse or normal scroll, nothing changed, only scrolling in reverse. I search through the support and find a related problem. Their solution was to use Bluetooth in place of the USB connection. I pair the device via Bluetooth and now the software is able to change the configuration of the unit so the scrolling works normal. I was able to use the typical functionality as expected. 3. I wanted to use the highlighter functionality. I was able to highlight as expected, except for the option of hitting the esc key to delete all the highlights. This wouldn't work. So I decided to check if firmware was the issue so I tried to go through firmware update process. The directions are pretty well done. You go through a initial pairing to get some files. Next you follow the steps to then upload the firmware. The update begins, then the progress bar stops moving. 10 minutes, 20 minutes go by and nothing. I close the software, open it back up and try the firmware process again. This time the progress bar get to about 75% then stops. Time goes by and I try again with no luck. If you don't need the additional features that the product offers, this will work out fine for you. If you are intending to use all the features, be cautious on buying this product. ... show more
