Although I'm a grown woman, I sometimes buy men's clothing for outside work or at-home casual wear--men's clothing is usually made better, more durable and runs true-to-size. Very little clothing today in made in the USA, and the sizing in women's clothing is all over the place--and we women put up with it (how many times have you washed something and put it in the dryer, only to find that the garment has shrunk or stretched and doesn't remotely fit like it when you first tried it on?!) Because of the sizing issues, I try to stick with tried-and-true brands like Champion. I have long, slender legs and these sweatpants have enough length. I like the closed bottoms for warmth (I sometimes wear these to bed when it's cold instead of regular PJs). I wasn't sure about the "light weight" description; these are about the thickness of a good quality T-shirt. That's fine for now but I may order some heavier weight sweatpants for winter. I purchased these pants for $10.00 on Saturday and received them the very next day. The reviews for the item was pretty good with some folks not impressed, so I was a bit skeptical. As expected the pants are indeed light weight, which is what I was looking for. The quality is very good, but not great, but I didn’t expect greatness from a $10.00 pant. I have loved every Champion product I have purchased for my family...except these. Super disappointed. The quality of the fabric leaves a lot to be desired. I do not find these to be soft. After a washing they got a tad softer, but they are still not what I would consider jersey knit. The length is too long for my son who usually has no problem fitting into the length of size small pants. In addition, the cuffs at the ankles are oversized. The waistband is low quality, the stitching is a little bit of a mess and I can already tell the wait and string will snag and probably rip at some point. The pants are thin. I held the pants up to light and you see light through the fabric, although the pants themself are not see through. I planned on buying additional colors if these worked out, but now I will not. I definitely recommend looking into a different pair of pants. ... show more

I use these for my very physically active job, and these pants work perfectly. Good for both summer and winter. They fit well and the closed bottoms are very convenient. Have bought four pairs over two years, the first pair still holding strong. I ordered these pants at a great sale price, $7-$8 a pair. I think I was duped and sent the pairs that didn’t make the cut to be sold at full price. I couldn’t get out of these pants faster as they were extremely itchy! No idea why, never had sweatpants like that. They were also very very thin, ad pictures make these pants look better than they are. I also found them to be shorter than I expected. I’m an almost 5’9 140ish lb female, and these were a smidge short on me. I expected them to be longer on me. Waist fit fine, as I got a small. Not sure how these pants get such good reviews, unless I really did receive different pants than the reviews that say how comfortable and warm these pants are.
