I normally wear 4XE width shoes, so when I ordered these I ordered the 5XE width. They fit slightly tighter than my normal 4XE, but not Uncomfortably so. My daily 2 mile walk is taken on desert dirt roads consisting of hard pan, soft sand and gravel with undulating terrain. The boots held the terrain firmly, securely and comfortably. Very happy with my purchase.

I like the color, the box fit well, it didn't seem as if my feet were being crushed from the top or sides. Ankle support was good as i traversed over loose rock and difficult terrain. Had to put some cushioned in-soles as the sole was not that comfortable for me.

The width runs smaller than posted. It’s more of a standard wide (2E) than a 3E. My foot is at a measured 3E and it’s tight right on the ball of my foot and forward through the toes. It feels like it runs like a tight 2E. Due to the toe cap, I don’t see it stretching out at all. Return it is. Another style in the same brand runs accurate though, this model runs a bit narrower. The quality looks great though. Really wish it would have worked out.

I have 4 to 5E width feet. Most all boots and shoes hurt me. These do not. More than enough room for my piggies. The memory foam feeling in the insoles is better than heavenly. The traction is spot on for casual or duty use. They seem to clean themselves rather easily after being in the field. Well made boots by a trusted name

I have a wide foot and have a difficult time finding shoes that don't squeeze my feet and make them hurt. These hiking boots seem very comfortable. However, I have not been hiking in them yet. I was standing on concrete all day long and seemed comfortable. True test will come next week when I hike in desert for 2 weeks. Will see how comfortable, hot and durable boots are.

I love these ProPay hiking boots, I use them for work boots cuz they're more comfortable then a standard work boot. I bought two pairs so far from a brick and mortar store for about $125. Saw them cheaper on Amazon so purchased here. Same model number and everything as the ones from brick and mortar store that I've been using. These are not the same. These are not comfortable. They feel totally different I'm not sure how things with Amazon work exactly or if there's different manufacturing process that's cheaper for Amazon stuff or if they're boot like completely but these are not the same boots that I've been wearing. I return them despite their being half the price, not comfortable and feel cheap
