I ordered this and installed it for my neighbor. We live off grid in a community 10 miles back a dirt road. This propane hot water heater was the perfect solution to his problem of having no running water in his house, let alone hot water. I piped his entire house with PEX and installed this heater in 1 full day of work. His only complaint was that he has to keep his water on the entire time he's showering in order for the water to remain hot - which I knew, but he didn't, prior to installing this. When you haul your water to your property, every drop matters, so that could be a variable that would stop someone from purchasing this type of water heater, but overall it works well and was simple to install. The water lines are clearly marked and the propane line goes straight outside his wall to a tank on the ground outside. He disconnects it when it needs refilled, so it's pretty easy to maintain as a full house tank isn't required to use this.

Worked good until it got below freezing then froze and burst inside the unit. The antifreeze heater In it obviously didn't work and also when sizing the gom , don't think bigger is better as when I took showers it would detect low flow and quit heating. Amazon gave me a refund and I selected another smaller capacity unit. Hopefully this one works as stated and doesn't freeze inside my basement. Cold air comes down the stack and will freeze it if the internal piezo heaters don't work.

I installed this propane tankless water heater in my shipping container house and it’s been working great so far. Heats water quickly and provides consistent hot water for showers and dishes. Installation was fairly straightforward, and the unit is compact enough to fit in a tight space which is what I needed. Overall, it does what it’s supposed to and has been a solid upgrade from a traditional tank heater. Because It is in a tiny house with just one bathroom I dont know how well it would do for larger homes. However for my needs it is perfect.

This replaced a much more expensive Ecotemp i12 tankless water heater which was NEVER good. For one thing it whistled at times so loud you could hear it 30 yards away from the house. Also their customer service NEVER responded to questions. This one has only one drawback. It reads in Celsius (Centigrade) instead of Fahrenheit. So I put a conversion chart for my use. This heats quickly, responds to inputs on the fly, and isn't too loud. I couldn't add a warranty to this purchase which bothered me somewhat. There's also not a lot of documentation on this brand available. Still, it was about half the cost of the Ecotemp I had so I'll just chalk it up as a lesson learned. It was easy to install and didn't throw me any curves. The propane adaption to a propane tank could be easier, but it used what I already had installed. I'm using pex for input and output and it works perfectly.
