It's not as fast as what it was replacing, but I like it's build and finish. Another thing I like is that the water temp is constantly adjusting to the set temperature. The wired remote makes it easy to use. The display on the controller tells you the water inlet temp and the outlet temp. When it shuts down, the fan will continue to run to cool it down quickly. Works amazingly even on cold nights (25°). My main complaint is the wired remote that is about as cheap as it gets and is not made to be outdoors at all for a unit that is a outdoor unit. Makes zero sense. So unless you're installing this on the outside wall of your bathroom keep this in mind. I just put it in a waterproof cellphone bag. But they definitely should do better on the controller seal it up! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I’ve only had this installed for a couple of days, Warranty states freezing is not covered but the unit is supposed to keep itself from doing that. In the first 2 days I noticed the unit maintained 44 F I was starting to feel relaxed, good thing I checked one last time! Went out to open drain lines and they were already froze. Took a torch to the valves and that got the water moving, heater fired up. Cut off water and let it drain, I no longer trust this heater will keep itself from freezing. Unless you live where it doesn’t freeze, don’t buy, especially don’t buy if your temps go below 28 which is a pretty light freeze. When it’s not freezing it seems to work fine but it’s only been a couple of days. 2 stars because it’s worthless to me, should have just purchased an interior unit and vented it! ... show more

This propane tankless water heater works but we have found it to be 1) Long to get hot water to any spigot and 2) Temperature is not consistent. Our niece has one too and the same complaints.

I have this installed in my off grid cabin and so far, it is working great. Since we are solar and wind powered we needed a propane water heater. We are pretty high up in altitude and were worried about how well it would work, but I can say it is doing fine. We are only running one or two appliances at a time and it keeps up nicely. No issues running a shower and the sink at the same time. Installation was no more difficult that you would expect. Instructions and manual were well done and easy to follow. We haven'tuse it enough to judge the propane useage, but from what I can tell it won't be much at all. Overall, this is a great choice for a whole house water heater. I can't find anything i don't like about it at this time. ... show more
