When I was younger, I had lashes that were thick and long. I’m 57 now and over the last several years, I watched my gorgeous lashes get thinner and shorter. My makeup staples have always been lipstick and mascara. But even mascaras that promised outrageous length and thickness didn’t make up for the fact that my lashes were just not what they used to be. I didn’t want a prescription product like Latisse nor did I want to try one of the expensive eyelash serums that cost almost as much as Latisse for a one-month supply. I decided to try Lavish Lash after reading so many positive reviews on Amazon. I am absolutely thrilled with this product! After only a couple weeks of using it nightly, I could see increased length and thickness of my lashes. As my lashes grew longer, they even started curling a bit so that you can see my lashes now even when I'm not wearing mascara. I love that it can be used not just on your top lashes, but on the bottom lashes and eyebrows as well. It’s easy to apply because the brush it long enough, sturdy enough, and thin enough so you can only apply exactly what you need. The serum itself is clear, feels light, and I hardly know it’s there after I apply it. The serum isn’t too thick where it doesn't absorb quickly, but it’s not too thin either where you worry it will run into your eyes. My skin and eyes can be a little sensitive and there are a few brands of eyeliner I can’t use because they will cause redness, swelling, and itching. But I have had no problems at all with Lavish Lash. I apply it to both my top and bottom lashes and have never had any irritation, redness, or swelling. I saw there were some questions about whether this product can change your eye color. I have brown eyes but have not noticed any color changes or discoloration at all. It’s an effective and affordable alternative to prescription products and other serums that cost much more.     • Hesitant, but so glad I tried!!! Quick results!!
EDIT*** After a month of use I have stopped using this. It completely ruined my lashes and some of my brows. I was seeing great growth at first then I started noticing my eyelashes and eyebrows were falling out. It ruined my lashes. I had decent lashes before and now I am back to castor oil trying to fix. My brows are starting to fill back in finally. I had high hopes for this and loved it at first, now not so much. . . ORIGINAL***I was so hesitant to try this, but I am so glad I did. I have been a believer in the castor oil method. It's worked well for me, the only problem is, it takes sooo long, 3-6 months to get consistent results. If you stop using it, the results go away very quickly. I then wanted to try the Rodan and Fields Lash Boost, though I didn't because $150 for a little tube of serum I can't justify that, especially not from a brand that isn't cruelty free. I saw someone compare this product to the similar results of lash boost, they both have similar ingredients. After much debate and worry over whether this would irritate my extremely sensitive skin, I decided to take a chance. I am several weeks in, I put it on as recommended once a day to both my lashes and brows. My lashes are already pretty thick, same with my brows, just wanted to add thickness to my brows, and length to my lashes. After a week, I noticed my brows were actually starting to thicken up, the bald spots are starting to fill in, and I had a lot if new growth in my lash line. After about 2 and half weeks, I am definitely seeing my brows fill in and my lashes are thickening up more, with a little bit of more length. It's still early but I am already happy and seeing results. This does require consistency but the results are quicker than just using castor oil. So glad I tried this and does not irritate my eyes or brow skin. Will definitely repurchase and can't wait to see what my lashes and brows will look like after a full 90 days!! Note: if I use this consistently then miss a day, my lashes get really hard to work with, then once I start back consistently, its fine, no issues. ... show more

I have read the 1 and the 5 star reviews and agree with both. When I initially started using this product I was having trouble seeing the next day. Applied at night and the next day I was finding my eyes were VERY dry and sensitive to light. My eyelids themselves were not irritated, but rather my actual eyeball. I discontinued the use for about 6 months and went back to using it for the heck of it. Week 1 of using it again I am finding my eyelashes have grown twice their size, thick, and NO irritation. Unsure what to think of this weird change in the product, whether the chemicals in this product aged slightly and caused a change in the chemical make up of it or what. I have only purchased one bottle therefore cannot confirm or deny if the product is consistent with ingredients. Personally will be investing in the more pricey / TRUSTED lash serums sold in store due to the trustworthiness of the company + sellers. Your eyeballs are very important, isn't worth the risk to become visually impaired due to inconsistent / questionable ingredients. ... show more
