    • Ideal sticks for Worship drumming
Style: Rebound 5A Size: Bonus Pack Color: Lacquer, Wood Tip
These are probably the best sticks if you're often playing for your church. 5A is realistically the heaviest you're going to need for worship, as you still need to easily apply softer impacts or have energy in more pattern-demanding songs. Since the weight of the sticks favor the butt end, utilize the rebound as much as possible instead of your own muscle movement, as you're able to still hit all ranges while applying minimal work. And no worries on durability, these sticks will last you a long time. ... show more

    • Owned for More Than 1 Year - The Perfect Drumsticks!
Style: Rebound 5A Size: Bonus Pack Color: Lacquer, Wood Tip
I’ve been playing drums for over a year now, and I can confidently say that the Promark 5A Drumsticks have been a game-changer for my playing style. Made from hickory, they offer the perfect balance of weight and durability. The rebound on these sticks is incredible, allowing for quick and effortless playing, whether I'm jamming at home or performing live. The acorn tip provides a warm, full sound that resonates beautifully on my drum kit. I also appreciate how well these sticks handle a variety of genres, from rock to jazz. Even after countless hours of practice, they’ve held up remarkably well with no signs of significant wear. If you're looking for reliable, high-quality drumsticks that won’t let you down, I highly recommend the Promark 5A Drumsticks. They’ve certainly earned a permanent place in my stick bag! ... show more

    • Converted: Won't Be Going Back to Vic Firth
Style: Rebound 5A Size: Bonus Pack Color: Lacquer, Wood Tip
I've been playing drums for over 20 years and have used Vic Firth for most of that time. I decided to try ProMark mainly for the price. I didn't expect to prefer them. I was wrong. The first thing I noticed was the feel. These sticks have a slightly raw, less polished surface compared to Vic Firths. At first it caught me off guard, but that texture adds real grip. When I picked up a pair of Vic Firths recently for the first time since switching, they felt almost plasticky by comparison, and I noticed how much grime they had collected because of that smoother finish. The ProMark surface just wears better. The other adjustment was the tip. These have a thicker, more elongated tip than I was used to, which changes the tone, especially on the ride. It took some time to get my ear around that difference, but once I did I found I actually preferred it. The thicker tip also seems more durable, which makes sense given the design. The FireGrain pair included in the bundle is a nice bonus as well. Worth trying if you haven't played with that texture before. Between the grip, the durability, the value, and a free pair of FireGrains thrown in, these have earned a permanent spot in my kit. Already planning my next order. ... show more
