The tips keep splitting. I haven't had this issue before. I do like the fact that they are within 1g or each other in weight, which Vic Firth has had issues with not being consistent.

I’ve purchased probably 5 or 6 different types of sticks on amazon. All break quickly- and I’m only using an electronic/rubber set. I usually love these sticks and have no issues with them. This time I have no idea what happened. This stick broke after 2 uses of moderate playing. You can feel the roughness in each stick. Only a couple feel very smooth but the others feel so rough it feels like you can even get a splinter by playing with them. It might just be the pack I received because I usually have no issues but I’m a little disappointed this time. ... show more
