I bought this specifically to help my ailing Tennis elbow, and it has helped a lot. However, I have now moved to its sister model, Black Ace LG, because of its longer handle and slightly different shape. Before this, I played with Selkirk LUXX Invicta Control, also a $250 paddle, but that destroyed my elbow. This one is way more powerful than Selkirk. It has a lot of pop, and it takes some time to get used to it. Look at some YouTube videos to ensure this is what you want. I went for it because of my Tennis elbow. It is one of the few paddles that has kinetic technology built in its core and around to dissipate vibrations. Now I had the tennis elbow to begin with (from playing Squash) but Pickleball made it really bad. The fact is that this game is hurting everyone’s elbow and arm, whether you know it or you have symptoms or not because it is sending a lot of vibrations up your sleeve every time you miss the sweet spot. Some estimate that 25% of all Pickle-ballers today will have long-term arm and elbow issues down the road. ... show more

It’s not going to make a pro out of me but I really like it. It’s light and it feels good in my hand. I was worried about the transition from a thick paddle for control to this much thinner paddle.     • Great power for tennis elbow
Great power for such a low swing weight. Obviously this paddle shouldn’t be recommended for a beginner. But for advance players, you will be drilling regardless and so the issues of a smaller sweet spot are mitigated. Overall it’s more about the player than the paddle at the end of the day.
