Okay here's the story .. I own a home built in the late 1960's when these light covers were popular but now becoming difficult to find locally. The cover included replacement felt pads to protect the glass from breaking and a replacement nut that looks like the original which luckily I still have after I accidently broke the original glass cover. I really liked the look of this as it kinda matched the Swirl floral design in my sheers did not have the littl cap but but I had my old one so it worked out .

My son was dancing in the kitchen of our apartment, while sweeping, and he raised the broom up and it hit the light fixture and broke it. I found this replacement that looks identical to the one that was broken, so I was able to replace the broken fixture. Easy to replace my old lamp with this new one and it came with a new light fixture I can replace the old with so that was great, didn't expect it but you get the whole thing minus lightbulbs

This diffuser enhances any space with a uniform glow about your ceiling and adjacent walls! The brighter the bulb, the better! I really liked how you can change your bulbs with relative ease, because it gives you ample space to get your hands in there. Great purchase for a great price!

    • Like it says, lightweight, easy to install.
This was a 10 minue job including a five minute break. Working on a stool overhead is no fun, but this fixture is light and fit right on the existing box, wires were long enough I didn't even have to push or pull on the romex much. Not very ritzy looking but I knew that prior.

Went right on my existing bulb structure and added the included nut (very very hard to find a single nut to buy) and Bang Zoom a beautiful solution. Love it. It ever came with a new bulb holder assembly that I didn't need, exactly the same size that was already in my bathroom. Easy Peasy.

I needed just the glass shade. Didn't realize that it came with the dual bulb complete mounting kit. Easy to swap out so I replaced them.
