    • 5 of the Blades hit the mounting bolt base
Blades hit against the mounting bolt. Several of the blades are too long and oddly shaped. At closer look, I see five of the blades are different lengths and slightly different end shapes. Terrible quality control.

    • The red Chevy emblem is a cheap sticker
I've been buying Proform Matte black engine dressings for my 1964 Impala SS for awhile now, and so far all has been great! So I get the alternator to match right! Get the alternator in and it looks great...except the red chevy emblem is a cheap sticker, and it was put on the bottom of the alternator for some reason. So I had to peel it off to put it on the top side and it won't stick anymore. All their other parts the red emblem is Painted. So very sad to see this part cost this much for the quality they usually put in their products. Do better ProForm! ... show more

The bowtie is a sticker the crinkle paint had chips in it and the logo was on the wrong side it ends up on the bottom. Not happy...

    • Barely any miles on it and died
I may have put 50 miles on my truck with this alternator installed before the alternator started to howl. I would not buy this product or recommend to anyone.
