    • Almost burnt my truck down!
Received what appeared to be used,some scratches on the body. Installed and started right up. Unfortunately the weather is still cold and I needed to sit In the truck and keep it idling because it was 35 degrees out and this carb is a race carb no choke. I started smelling gas and got out and looked at the motor, fuel was pouring out of the secondary nozzles not the squirter ,under the screw. Fuel was shooting on the distributor cap!. After shutting down I checked the screw that holds the nozzle in and it was barely hanging on by a thread. I went to tighten it down but couldn't because the threads were stripped! I removed the carb and inspected it alittle more and it appeared to have some soot on the inside around the throttle blades . Don't know the story but I returned it, I'll be going back to my old reliable holley. ... show more
