After searching for the best deal for the money online, I came across this sweet deal and decided to try them. I was pleasantly surprised to open the package and find 12 high quality nail files. You just can't beat that number of nail files for the price. They arrived quickly and I actually used them as stocking stuffers this year in addition to keeping a couple for myself. Instead of cutting my nails, I used this thick edged board to shape my rough natural nails and finish filing the nails that were splintered. I also used it to file off the old nail polish that was hard to remove. The board is not flimsy at all. Very well-made. These will likely last a long time. Ok. I just need some dang nail files. I don't understand all these numbers, so that's my fault. But DANG!! These are like 60 grit for wood working. I can't imagine ANYONE needing these for their nails -- at least no humans. Maybe a horse??? And they SMELL. Really bad. I'm not sure WHAT that smell is, but I threw them away. I can't have a smell like that around me. Nasty. I don't recommend these for any humans or animals. Someone probably knows these have a PARTICULAR purpose, but the amazon description didn't allow me to make to realize HOW coarse these were and mentioned nothing about the smell. ... show more

Love these. Nice grit (100/180). I do nails and a good file is essential for shaping. These even buffed out the tops of nail bed easily. Comes with a good amount (12) for a reasonable price.

I coughed the second I opened the packaging. The chemical smell was overwhelming. Even after 3 days in my garage to air out they still smelled like chemicals. Also these are only good for fake nails. Both sides are too rough to smooth natural fingernails. Perfect for sanding furniture I am sure.

I didn't even take these out the package. They smell absolutely disgusting. They smell like urine. I ordered a replacement to see if I just got a bad pack ....nope the replacement smells exactly the same 🤢.
