Updated review on 12/22/22 After playing around with the gimbal and its proprietary app for a while and putting it to its first true test on 12/20/22, I’m here to report that it passed with flying colors. While there are a few features that I’d like for the developer to add with future updates, such as better zoom and the ability to use it fully on other camera apps, it got the job done at a concert. Had I just held the phone by itself, my hands would’ve been shaking, but the gimbal not only made it easier to hold, it stopped most, if not all, of the shaking. It seems odd that the battery life would drain, at least from my perspective, rather quickly when not in use, but whatever. Pick it up and play around with it. [Original review below] (The following review is based on its initial use; review may be updated if there is something more to add.) The gimbal works…sort of. It has the tendency to do the opposite of what I’m trying to do. It’s as if it’s set to inverted control settings which doesn’t help during those crucial moments. Plus the manufacturer states that it supports the iPhone 13 Pro Max and it does, but I’m guessing because of its weight, the mount causes the phone to drift down. The light on the gimbal runs hot, and I mean DANGEROUSLY HOT! Best to leave it off. I haven’t tested out the overall battery life, I will update my review once I play around with the gimbal a bit more. Unfolding the stabilizer is easy, but when folding it, it makes me nervous because I have no idea whether or not the sheer force needed to fold it will cause the stabilizer to break off the gimbal. As for the app, I wish the gimbal wasn’t so dependent on the app cuz the app itself needs a lot of work. When I first started it, it was in vertical mode when I had the phone horizontally. And the settings are somewhat limited. You can’t use the zoom pushrod on the phone with other camera apps, so you run the risk of knocking the phone off its axis when you have to touch the phone to zoom in or out. If the gimbal itself allowed users to use any apps they desired instead of being dependent on this app, it would be so much better. Overall (so far), this particular gimbal is not too shabby for what I paid for it, but it needs a lot of work. I don’t know if this gimbal is capable of firmware updates, but if it does, I hope the manufacturer will push an update that’ll make it more user friendly with apps outside its proprietary app. Otherwise, you may be better off spending a bit more money on a more user friendly gimbal. ... show more

If you are starting in content creation this is definitely a great starter gimble. The tracking system and the back light are my favorite part. The only thing I would suggest is when you setup the gimble on the tripod, you put it on a flat surface. I accidentally put it on the hood of my car and setup the tracking system. So when it was moving to follow my motion it fell off my car and some of the little pieces popped off, but they were easy to pop back on. Definitely worth the purchase though if don’t want to spend a whole lot of money. ... show more

    • Great little gimbal packed with features
I'm actually ashamed to admit, I actually purchased this for someone as a starter gimbal. After looking over it's features, curiosity got the best of me and I had to try it out for myself. Once I started playing with it, I honestly couldn't put it down. It was fairly simple to get up and running. It amazed me how light it was while also being very responsive and stable. It was feature packed while also being virtually compact. The battery life is on par for what you'd expect out of most gimbals.of this size, if not better. The light is a huge bonus for sure. This is the first gimbal I've ever seen that had this feature built in. This gimbal proves that you don't need to have a big bulky one or spend a huge amount of money in order to get quality. I now have to buy another one to give as the gift. Hopefully they don't see this review hahaha I definitely recommend. ... show more

Initially I wanted this Gimble because it had the ability to follow faces, objects, and people. It’s also rechargeable which makes powering this electronic amazing. It has a light for brighter views and well lit pictures/ videos. But two things that subtracted a start was that the Qi wireless charger was not supporting it’s function or not strong enough to charge my phone battery. And my phone was so big that it would constantly hang up ion the gimble hinge and I would have to recalibrate it to POV mode to get it to centers again. For the price it is not bad at all. So I like the functionality of the device. Clarity looks good. But it is a little difficult to set up (every time you use it) and if you don’t have any patience, buyer beware. When using the button to move the angles, the video shakes when it stop and you can see that in the video which made it a annoying to do my videos. I now don’t even use that function. ... show more
