I'm very happy so far with this purchase: I've been wearing it now for about six weeks, and I'm starting to become very familiar with most of its intuitive projections. I've been sick recently so I did put the data on "rest mode" so I'm not given an activity goal, but the other data that drips in is quite helpful. I still wear my Garmin watch because I do need something to tell me the time, but the Oura provides a level of data that the Garmin hasn't been able to touch in their updates, and I like the Oura's interface and app much better. I ordered the sizing kit but never received the $10 credit once I ordered the ring itself, so that was a bit of a let-down, but the sizing was spot-on to the sizing kit, NOT to my actual ring size. I garden like a maniac and although I thought the ring was scuffed up in quite a few places, after a good wash, it's back to perfect. It stinks that the ceramic costs so much more but I do believe it would be the better choice for a coating over the long run. The color is fantastic as well, I'm really happy I went with it. The ring is durable: it is thick on my left index finger, but I stopped noticing it after day 3 or so. My only recommendation is that if losing weight is your primary focus and if you are torn between two sizes, I would size down. You really can shuffle to a different finger if you need to, but I do believe that with the toning up I've done, I could have gone down and it would have been a better, solid fit for the new version of me. Battery life could be better, but after owning an Apple Watch for a few years, I'm not sure what the complaints are because it's nowhere near as bad as that. I'm having to charge every 5 days or so, but I just throw it on the charging plate while I'm showering and it's ready to go after. I do wear mine 24/7, so YMMV on battery. Overall, I've gone from a TomTom watch to a Fitbit, to Apple, another Fitbit, another Apple, a few Garmins, but I do like the Oura the best. I have no experience yet with customer service, but I'll update if I never need to. ... show more

The app was easy to use to set up. I open a lot of card board at work, and the ceramic has held up well. No scratches. It fits just like the sizer, feels better actually. I have an Apple Watch and the Oura ring, and they give me different amount of steps walked each day. I don’t know which one is more accurate. If the fitness tracking is important, keep that in mind. I’ve been extremely impressed with my Oura Ring. I love how much it tracks—from stress levels and cardiovascular metrics to personalized AI insights that actually help me understand my health trends over time. The information feels tailored to me rather than just presenting raw data, which makes it much more useful. I also chose the darker finish and was worried it would scratch easily, but it’s held up much better than I expected. It still looks great after regular daily wear. One unexpected benefit is how much I enjoy not having constant notifications on my wrist. I’m honestly considering replacing my Apple Watch with the Oura Ring full-time because it gives me the health data I care about without all the distractions. I’ve really enjoyed using this ring so far. It has a good lightweight fit, comfortable, and much less distracting than wearing a smartwatch all day and night. Great functions including sleep tracking which has been especially helpful and honestly feels pretty accurate compared to how rested I actually feel. The app is clean and easy to understand but it is not included and you have to pay a monthly subscription. I like being able to see trends with sleep, stress, activity, and recovery all in one place. Very duarable. The ceramic cloud color also looks sleek and neutral enough to wear with everything. Battery life has been solid too. Expensive, yes, but if you’re into health tracking and want something more minimal than a watch, I think it’s worth it. ... show more

I chose the ceramic ring in the color petal over the metal rings. I like the fact that it looks different from the metal versions. There are several ceramic ring colors to choose from. I am fair skinned-so the petal pink blends in nicely without competing with other jewelry. After purchasing the ring, I found out you should wear the ring on your non-dominant hand.
