My wife ordered this log set to replace the existing set that served us well for 15 years. The previous log set cost us somewhere around $800. I browsed the Internet for a new log set and saw that they ran between $800 and $1500. So when my wife told me she bought a log set then told me how much she paid for it I was VERY skeptical. I thought that it would be a cheesy, cheap, fragile affair. Boy was I wrong.! This thing is very nice! I disagree with the comments about the log set looking fake/cheap. The logs in this set are either better looking or at least compare with all of the other log sets that I’ve seen. It wasn’t difficult to install. And it works very well. The remote works also works very well it heats up our large living room -dining room - kitchen space saving us a lot of gas where we would normally use our furnace to heat. I recommend it and would buy it again.

Heats up very fast, the temperature sensor on the remote works perfect. Get it installed by a professional so it works as it should.

The way it is designed the placement of the center log keeps activating the oxygen sensor and shutting it off. Remove the log and it works fine. That makes it a bad choice if you have never worked with a gas log. I also contacted the seller for help and they never responded. Luckily I was able to figure it out myself.

Three complaints are one, that it installs practically sitting on the bottom of the fireplace casing so turning or getting to the knobs/button is more difficult than it needs to be. Your knuckles are hitting your fireplace rocks. Two, the style and look of the logs, especially the ones on top are not realistic looking at all. Third, when putting together the logs all the holes and bolts didn’t line up and I had to drill some holes to make them go together. Function wise it works great!

The diagram of log placement wasn't correct. I had to request a users guide to get it right. Also, once the pilot light is on it was confusing as to how to turn the knob to ignite. Push in, pull out, a little of both. However, we were VERY pleased to be able to get the same one we had previously and the price was also good. We have been very happy with our purchase.

Logs were easy to install remote was easy to set up looks okay not very realistic, but flame goes out and pilot goes out after being on for about thirty minutes
