The fan worked well until it got overheated and melted some of the wiring, then it quit. Not a problem with the construction of the fan but with how it was used by us. As long as you are careful to not put it on too hot of a surface, it should give good service. Do not place the fan on a cast iron skillet on a propane camp stove it will get too hot and melt the wires. Oops... ... show more

Love this fan...great heat distribution and perfect size, color, great quality. We use it to help our small wood stove heat our entire 3 story farmhouse all winter. So sad that when it was just over 2 years old, one fan stopped working. I thought it may be dust, so blew it out w an air compressor, which did not fix it. Then the other fan went on the fritz, then went out. I was worried, because these fans have increased in price by about $20 in the last 2 years and it essential to heat our home. I messaged the company, thinking there may be a warranty. No warranty, but CRSURE offered to send a new motor kit free of charge. My son changed out the motors and found that the fans on ours were not threaded, but the spindles on the new motors were threaded. Oh, no! Messaged CRSURE again to see if I could purchase new fan threaded blades, and they offered to send a new fan free of charge! Excellent company, and our home is toasty warm once again!     • stopped working, fixed, stopped working again
CRSURE Wood Stove Fan, 8 Blades Double Motors (another of my many review postings on this set of fans) After fixing the unit by applying new heat grease to the peltier junction (last review), the fans worked better than when the unit was delivered. I thought I'd fixed the problem, but a week later both fans stopped working. The problem had to be common to both fans, either peltier junction or the wiring. Waggling the wires didn't change anything. I disassembled the two aluminium blocks to find plenty of heat grease on the peltier junction. So I couldn't find the problem. I don't know what I did in the previous review that fixed the problem. I thought it was the heat grease, but maybe it wasn't. I assume the unit is dead. ... show more

    • Works as stated. I'm concerned about the wires in the back.
The media could not be loaded. So as soon as I received the Fan I unboxed it and attached it to my "Little Buddy Heater". In less than a minute the fans started rotating and within 2 min, it was at full Blast. It circulated the heat quite nicely. I am a bit concerned about the wires in the back. When the heater is on full blast, those wires get hot. The shrink-wrap tubing that covers the wires will get tacky which means that it is getting too hot. When the heater setting is on low the wires seem fine. I'm curious to see if CSURE has a solution for this. UPDATE: So as expected, the wires in the back finally got hot enough the break off. It’s a simple fix but frustrating that I saw this being a problem but the makers of this product didn’t. OR..was it made that way to get you to buy more. Hmm🤔 ... show more

I bought this fan as a camping accessory to put on top of my Mr. Buddy Heater. Most recently I was tent camping in northern Michigan in early May where it can be quite chilly at night. Within 30 seconds of turning on the heater each night, the fan kicked on and circulated warm air all night and kept the heat from going straight up and out of the tent. Worked like a charm for each night of cold camping. I was able to turn the heater on low to save gas and wore shorts and a t-shirt to sleep😂. What a terrific little fan! I have it on my woodstove and at about 200 degrees the thing comes on quiet as a mouse and blows a ton of air over the top of the stove. I also have a 110V blower behind the stove but that is noisy and of course costs $ to run and frankly, this works much better and is free to operate. I'm hoping that this will last a really long time because it really awesome! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This little fan is working great so far ! I purchased this item because my blower is broken on my wood stove. At first I could not feel any air moving in front of the fan. I am not feeling a ton of air but there is some, certainly not moving enough to blow anything. We will see how it goes as far as helping heat up the room when it really gets cold out, when it has already been very cold, etc. I will write an update once winter really sets in. ... show more

    • Doesn't move as much air as expected.
I liked the look but wish I had bout the larger single fan style. This is a much smaller fan than I had expected and though it seems to perform well, it doesn't move a whole lot of air. I have to place it at the very front of my stove to feel any breeze from it at all. Just a side note, I have a rather large stove and this fan might perform better on a smaller one. ... show more
