This is a great product if you can understand the art of growing. This "can", is for the flowering stage. If you set it up during vegetation stage(baby plant), you'll drown her in co2 and baby plants require fresh air constantly. In the pictures provided, once you see the white hairs or "tentacles", you set up the co2 can right above the bud using a "Jerry rig" of course, and boom, bam, you got some tasty fat buds. This "can", is meant for the last month of flowering. You have to open the tab on the can 2 weeks before use to allow time to activate. Once you smell "rotten bananas" or that garbage bag smell, it's activated. Remember, this is not for a closet or room grow UNLESS you have proper ventilation fan and it's set at the right angle where you are not SUCKING up all the co2 right away. Circulation is key, otherwise you will get smell and mold. Hasn't happened to me but so i have heard. Circulation of air is key.So this product works great for the semi-pro who does not want to spend 400 bucks on a co2 machine. Works great in tents. Tabs are very strong. Stops working after a year. I kept shaking mine up and still works. Keep away from lights as lights will dry it out. I hope the can guy sends me a can or two for this. ... show more

I ordered this and the CO2 meter. Hung it up and pulled the tab, it read 1000 ppm and 8 hours later it read 550 ppm. I took the meter outside to calibrate it and put it back in my tent, no change. I made the hole bigger thinking it needed more output, and the the Fruit flies came!! I had to take it out and throw it away in the woods cause it smells like vomit. ... show more

Product works great. Made a big difference in my plants. Just make sure to hang it using more than the plastic strap that comes. The strap broke on mine. Came home to a couple crushed branches. Will def buy again though

I now have used this product 2 times. It is the exact size I need for a small grow tent with only 8 square feet to cover. Since the ProCO2 covers 9 square feet it has worked out perfect for me. I need CO2 for quicker growth and better end product to fit my growing experience. I am doing so many things different I can not tell exactly how effective it is but my growth rates have doubled. I think maybe 25% of the speed up is due to this product. I used to have a professional greenhouse CO2 machine ran on propane but for a smaller space this is the only answer. ... show more
