I bought this case to protect the tablet I recently purchased. Upon affixing this case, I was startled by a blinding bright light and the sound of trumpets. As I came to, I noticed the carpet seemed to be a writhing mass of Escher-esque, tessellated geckos. More so than usual, even. I picked up a paper and pen (fully forgetting I had a brand new Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 directly in front of me) and I began to record my experience. Incoherent ramblings for the most part, what little I can now understand seemed to focus on the nature of male / female relationships and how important the father is as a role model for potential partners of females. Don't even start with your criticism of my CIS-centricity, we are breeders first and foremost, the current lunacy notwithstanding. Besides, we're talking about a tablet case here, for heaven's sake! Anyway, there was also some nonsense written about Robert Young in "Father Knows Best" as well as an exploration of my love of my upper arms - upon seeing it, I expressed my affection for my right arm, then soon gave attention to my left as I didn't want it to feel left out. The only thing that was wrong with this case is that someone had stuck a shipping label on the back of it, and then tried but failed to remove it. That was quite unsightly, but easy to remove. Otherwise, it is very attractive looking. The folding cover which converts into a lengthwise stand, also opens the tablet's display when opened. And I use it as a handle when turned the other way up. Pros: 1. The price. 2. It feels as if it'll do its job offering some protection if I drop my device. 3. The classic tri-fold design props up my Galaxy A7 making it easier to use. 4. Snug fit with legit cut-outs in the correct locations. 5. The Navy color is cool. Con: The magnets appear to clasp without the A7 in it. I bought the light green cause I wanted a change from black. It is a lot lighter color than I expected but I really like it. Too bad the tablet is turning out to be junk (slow and won't play video smoothly, the 5 year old Samsung tablet it's replacing is as fast and has never had a video playback issue. But that's a review for Costco and Samsung) It's going back to Costco for a replacement or a refund? So I might have a nice new cover with nothing to put in it! LOL ... show more

I wanted a cover for the tablet that would have the sleep/wake function. I couldn't find one on the Samsung site and even messaged them and was told they didn't make them (had one from hem that was included for my old tablet). I was pleasantly surprised to find this one for a very affordable price. The only problem is that I can't easily get my fingers on the two side buttons to push in order to take a screenshot because of the way the cover is constructed. Still not taking off any stars for that as I feel it is an excellent product for the price. I can used Google Assistant for screenshots if I want instead. ... show more

This case protects my Galaxy Tab just as expected. The case allows for a stand at the correct angle to watch videos. I imagine any color case would work just as well from this company. I prefer a lighter color as it is easier to find in my bag.
