Updated review based on new design
Color: Grey
Size: 16.9"L x 16.9"W x 9.5"Th (Mesh)
Update as of 23 Nov 2022: Based on the review I wrote below, Junspow contacted me about my experience. They genuinely were concerned about my comments and offered to send me the updated/improved version of this bed to see if my experience would be more positive. YES!!! Kudos Junspow!! This version was super easy to assemble, the screws were more than adequate length and the "gasket" was eliminated. It went together exactly as it was supposed to with no issue whatsoever. This is a quality made item. The tubing is super strong and all holes aligned. I can wholeheartedly give my endorsement of the product now. Thank you, Junspow, for reading the reviews and for caring enough about your customers to improve your product-- and for asking me to give you another chance. I understand that the instructions are also being improved, but I found assembly of this design to be much more intuitive, and I completed it in about 5 minutes. I definitely recommend it now. Thank you again, Junspow! I'm a happy camper. Oh, and the kitty blanket from Junspow is also a big hit around here! Oct 2022: Wow. Assembly of this thing was some special kind of pain. I was tempted to rate it 1 star based only on the difficulty to assemble. Eventually I determined the screws were too short and I didn't have any longer ones on hand, so I eliminated the piece called the "gasket" in the so-called instructions, which helped. The instructions are written so poorly and the illustrations so small, they are virtually useless. Watch the video instead to get the idea, even tho for me that didn't totally help until I decided to not use the gasket. The assembly would also have been easier if the semicircular tube that holds the fabric went together with a flat spot where you attach the supporting legs. Mine couldn't get close enough to the supporting legs to also use the gasket because of the too short screws. Additionally, I couldn't figure out the order in which the pieces were to be placed. I believe it's the gasket closest to the fabric bed, then the semicircular tube that hold the fabric, then the semicircular leg on the outside. Orient the screws based on your preference. The assembly was a lesson in frustration to say the least. Too me way too long for such a simple item. As to the item itself, it seems sturdy. The legs are solid metal and the fabric seems durable. I expect cat claws will snag it pretty easily tho. My cats haven't used it yet but I'm hopeful they'll like it. If you want to wash the fabric, you'll have to disassemble the unit except for the crossbars. Given the difficulty getting it assembled, I think I would just try to wash it in my laundry tub. I'd rate this item 5 stars if the instructions were helpful/readable and the screws were the necessary length. If my cats don't love it, I'm going to be annoyed after what I went thru to put it together.

Worth it
Color: Purple
Size: 16.9"L x 16.9"W x 9.5"Th (Mesh)
My cats love these hammocks! I bought two, because my girls are a little on the chonky side. I had bad luck with getting them to use other pet beds (except when they decided they were an alternative to their litter box :/) but as soon as I had the first one assembled, there was a cat in it. Haha. They love them, they each have their own, and they can still pile up with each other when they want to. Definitely stable, durable, and absolutely worth the cost.

My Cat's New Favorite Bed, But Screws Are Too Short
Color: Grey
Size: 16.9"L x 16.9"W x 9.5"Th (Mesh)
This is my cat's new favorite bed. He has several different styles of beds around the house but since setting this bed up a few weeks ago he's been using it exclusively. It seems like he enjoys the saucer shape, he likes to lay in a little ball and this bed contours to that shape. It's also very easy for him to get in and out of, and they make soft wool liners you can add to it in the winter for extra warmth. I ended up buying a wool liner for it for the winter but haven't used it yet since it's been 90 degrees here. As you can see in the pictures he even likes to lay under it when it gets too toasty. For reference to size my cat is about 9 pounds. He hasn't had any issues with his claws on the mesh lining. Assembly is an absolute nightmare, even with the YouTube video the manufacturer includes the link to in the box. It took me an hour to put this little thing together, when I was expecting it to take maybe 10 minutes. Even their video is awful, you see more of the person putting it together than you do the actual installation process - the camera is too far from the pieces to really show them. I'm pretty sure they used different screws in the video because the ones included are barely long enough to hold the pieces together. The box includes a small screwdriver but what it really needs is either a wrench or pliers to screw the nuts onto the bolts. Some of the pieces refused to be flush with each other no matter how much I tried, at one point I was even leaning on the pieces with my knees to try to get them to be flush and it didn't work. Once I was able to get the pieces flush *just enough* to start screwing them together, I noticed there was no way I was going to be able to secure them by hand - the screws are so short for the pieces that only maybe one or two threads of the screw were visible above the connected pieces. The person in the video was able to screw them by hand, definitely not the case here. I ended up needing to screw it on with pliers, and the nuts are so small the pliers kept slipping off them and scratched the black off the metal legs. Sigh. Eventually I was able to get them on tight enough where I was comfortable it wouldn't fall apart, but really they should make the screws just a few threads longer to help with this. And if they are concerned the screws would be too long and hurting any cats they should include some little rubber coverings for protection. It's an easy fix that would save the person putting it together A LOT of time and hassle! I included a picture of the instruction booklet so people can see what other customers are complaining about. They really need an overhaul of the instruction manual. But would I buy it again? Probably yes because my cat enjoys it so much, but I would pay someone else to put it together for me so it wouldn't leave me frustrated for the rest of the day.

Perfect for Cats who Lay on Heating Vents!
Color: Grey
Size: 16.9"L x 16.9"W x 9.5"Th (Mesh)
This winter, my three year old cat started laying on the heating vents. Although this is funny, this can be unsafe for her and lead to heating inefficiency. She loves a similar disc-style hammock bed on a cat tree we had, so between that and seeing how I could situate it over one of her beloved vents, I knew we HAD to buy this when we saw it. Assembly is easy and straightforward and comes with all hardware and tools (an allen wrench) that you need! It ships partially assembled. In my opinion, it does not require the instructions to do correctly - it's just obvious and intuitive, and I say this as someone who is NOT the furnishing assembly person in the house. It took about two minutes, including removing from the packaging. The disc hammock's fabric is a mesh that seems durable - unlike the similar one on her tree that is fluffy, it will not wear away and mat down with time, which is great! If you're using it similarly to me (over a heating vent so they can have their way AND be safe AND not cause the furnace to run and run), you won't regret the purchase. She, a 7.5lb girl, loves it. Her younger siblings, who are similarly sized at only six months, are happy to double up in it and snooze.

UPDATE: 09/20/23-Seller replaced the second hammock that wasn't the same quality as the first
Color: Grey
Size: 16.9"L x 16.9"W x 9.5"Th (Mesh)
UPDATE: 09/20/23 - 5 STARS The seller has been great about ensuring satisfaction with their products. The second hammock I purchased wasn’t the same as the first; different more wobbly frame design with rubber sticker bottoms, not the solid adjustable rubber bottoms. The hammock material was also thinner. The seller offered to send me their large version that accommodates 2 cats at no charge. That one was back to the same good design as the first one I received and my cats LOVE IT! The only thing I would say about it is that the material on the large version still isn’t quite as thick or stretchy as the first one...something I likely wouldn’t have even noticed if I didn’t already have the first hammock with the slightly thicker material. I don’t know if it’s because the weather is still hot and the mesh material is cool, the cats like the sunken feeling of the hammock, or what, but they’ve ignored all their other beds in favor of the hammocks. They are also lightweight so easy to move around. I have 3 sliding glass doors in different parts of the house and my cats love to be in the hammocks right in front of the doors so they can look out. I just move the hammocks to change their view or so they can be in the same room with us. The hammocks are pricy, but my cats love them and are in them for hours every day, so that’s worth it. - FIRST REVIEW: I bought this product and it was sturdy and my cats liked it so I bought another one. The second one is NOT the same. It is wobbly, the parts are different/inferior and the material is much thinner/inferior. My cats will only get in the first one because it doesn't wobble and the material is much thicker. The thinner material sinks too much for my heavy set cat. I returned the second hammock and ordered the square model to replace it hoping it's the same quality of the first round one I ordered. I rate the first round hammock I received 5 stars, but the second one that should have been the same but wasn't 2 stars.

Cat Approved but not Owner Approved
Color: Grey
Size: 16.9"L x 16.9"W x 9.5"Th (Mesh)
Pros: I have a super heavy chunky cat and he loves this hammock bed. He is very heavy and so far I have not have any issues with the hammock becoming un-strapped and dropping him. So it seems pretty durable at this point in time. It only took me about ten minutes to put this together and it came with all the tools I needed. Cons: The reason I’m giving this item a 3 star instead of 5 is due to the condition of the packaging and the metal parts of this bed upon arrival. This very clearly was someone’s returned item that I received. The box was dirty (as shown) with something stained all over it. The plastic that was meant to protect the metal pieces were visibly grimey like they had been previously touched by other people. And, the metal pieces had black paint chipping off of them upon arrival and continued to do so the entire time I was putting the bed together. The only reason I did not return was because I washed the hammock and disinfected and wiped down the other pieces and I got this on sale. Even on sale this was $27, and I see the price has dropped since then. I would have never paid $27 for a cat bed that had very clearly been used prior and was returned. This product is not worth more than $15. However, my cat likes it so I’ll be keeping it. So all in all, just beware.

Cold weather update - 20 pound cat loves it!
Color: Grey
Size: 16.9"L x 16.9"W x 9.5"Th (Mesh)
Six month update - now with cold weather! The hammocks are in use daily by all cats. Recently, one had a medical situation and was inappropriately urinating all over, including these hammocks. I decided to experiment with washing methods and placed the entire assembled beds in the tub, used gentle detergent on the affected areas, and thoroughly rinsed them with the shower attachment and left them to air dry. They were pristine after washing, and they are again in use by everyone. I placed inexpensive infant receiving blankets in them, and the cats enjoy the warmth. The beds have remained rock solid, and even with rough-housing play, there has been no fabric fraying, punctures, ripping or tearing. I have large and EXTRA large rescued cats entering their geriatric years. I catsit for several others with similar needs. I discovered these low to the ground hammock beds and bought ONE. It was simple and easy to assemble, and I write this as someone with moderate decreases in fine motor coordination and very little hand strength. All of the screws, nuts and a phillips screwdriver were included with an instruction manual that had pretty good directions and helpful illustrations. As soon as the hammock was set up, I sprinkled some catnip in it and waited - for about ten seconds. My largest cat climbed right in and not only fit, but had room to get and stay comfortable. I then purchased two more - another for my crew and one for the silver tabby pictured, who is becoming arthritic. He also climbed in, settled to a comfy position and visibly relaxed. His partner in catdom, the orange and white Zooomie master, took a turn, so I ordered a fourth bed. Pros: very easy to set up. Easily accommodates large framed and heavy cats (thinking of Wegies, Maine Coons, Sibes, etc). Easy to spot clean. Low to the ground. Sturdy and stable - no wobbling. Can add blankets or place within soft sided beds to block drafts/increase warmth in cool/unheated areas. Feet caps prevent floor scratches. Competitive price. Very lightweight and one hand only required to pick up and move it. EDIT Cons: DOES NOT require complete disassembly to remove and wash the fabric "bowl". (took me about 5 minutes to test this - really not difficult). The entire bed can be washed intact if the frame fits in a tub or shower area. No CONS observed! Unknown: how fabric weathers in outdoor conditions, but it appears to be able to withstand some sun, water and catnip spray. EDIT: Six months in, and the beds are in daily use without signs of wear and tear by cats weighing 15-20 pounds. Two weeks in, and the occupancy rate is still climbing.
