As others have stated, this is formulated different than other Benzoyl Peroxide treatments so it's not the same as getting a cheap tube at the grocery store and.... Trust me... I wish it was and I defiantly tried to make that a reality for years to no avail. For whatever reason, this is in a category of it's own. Since I have a tendency to get dry skin, I don't use it daily and when I do, I rinse fairly quickly. I've been able to build a little tolerance to it and use it on days when I don't use my Retin-a. I don't get acne like I used to and the Ret is more for anti-aging purposes but since there's this weird trickery that happens for some of us in our 30's, I get zits and wrinkles. Life is cruel. I got my mom hooked on it now too.... Which unfortunately means that trickery can still take place well into your 60's by the way. Good thing we have this stuff though I suppose. ... show more

I have used Proactive for years, often times ordering directly from Proactive it can be pricey. Amazon allows for me to buy my face wash for cheaper and much faster delivery

I have not had problems with face acne for many years because of this product. At first it brought out all the pimples just under my skin. I felt better but looked awful. A month later problem gone and doesn’t return unless I run completely out. Thank you!

I am 47 with adult acne, my daughter is 16 with minor acne. We both love the original Proactive. The other two do not seem to work for me as like the original. Our skin is completely clear of any blemishes. It is non-drying and makes your skin feel so clean. I have used it since it first came out years ago.
