I had my doubts that my elderly parents can hear better with this speaker, but it does make it easier to hear in a large room with ceramic tile floors. The sounds of voices are clearer. The sound is very good and worked well with my TV. Only surprised the battery only last for a few months. (3) Being a rechargeable they usually last for longer. That is the only reason I only give it four stars.

It does not seem to hold a charge. If you take it off the base to use - it quits working after 5 minutes. We called Sereonic Pro and they said they would get back to us, but we never heard anything from them.

Once we got this connected it worked well. I am not hard of hearing nut just wanted a speaker near the bed. What I had earlier was a bluetooth speaker that was now having static when I used it. Bought this for my mother to hook up to a new smart TV. My brother said it was very easy to install after he realized that it needed to be charged first. An older version of this, she had been using with a “regular” TV for quite a few years. This new one has much better clarity and volume range. Very pleased with this.
