This is a great product. It’s just what I needed to have a secure disconnect for my trolling motor. The eight gauge wires need to be crimped and doing so was a bit of a challenge. I finally found a local auto repair shop who had the large crimper, expertise and strength to do it. My only suggestion is that the two wires on the ring side of the device, the one attaching to the battery itself, could be longer. They do fit outside of the battery box, but just barely. And that is moving the battery to the extreme front of the box to them as much room as possible. Even a couple of inches longer would be an improvement. ... show more

No more opening the battery box to hook up the trolling motor!! Kit was easy to install and components are quality. I did lengthen the cables on the battery side so the pigtail connector hangs outside the battery box 6 inches. Every fishing buddy wants me to install these for them!! Great product

Everything was good quality, easy to connect to battery but make sure you have a decent crimper for connections your going to power, I put on my boat for trolling motor, quick easy connection now.
