  • Great Boat!
My boat arrived quickly and in perfect condition. This thing really screams! My first brushless boat but now I'm hooked! So much fun. My 4 year old loves it too! He is really good at rc for his age though and I set it on 50% for him. I love that I can trim it to 75 or 50 right from the transmitter, super convenient. Handles well but will flip in tight turns or rough water occasionally. Call the rescue tug! Or end up waiting for it to drift to shore like I had to the first time. All part of the experience! Use the recommended waterproof tape and marine grease. Keep an extra flex shaft on hand too! Maybe a propeller. Does take a little maintenance but very minimal as far as hobby grade goes. Highly recommend! ... show more

  • A Quick Cat!
This thing is SWEEEEET!!! I love it. Only went with 3S batteries and I get my thrills with those. The boat is super stable and grabs and accelerates very fast. You need to make sure you get the marine grease to keep the drive shaft smooth and to help water not to leak back. Boat tape is highly recommended as well. Get the 3S battery and you won't be sorry. Next step is to eventually upgrade the ESC and battery for more thrills. But for now I'm loving it. ... show more

  • My first electric rc boat was great the first few runs and will be again
My first electric rc boat was great the first few runs and will be again. I assumed "ready to run" meant I didn't need to do anything. Be sure to check all the screws and bolts. Motor came loose on the 3rd run destroying the flex shaft. Little lock tite and a new part I will be back @ it.

  • Awesome boat for the money!
This is one fun boat. I'm floored with how fast this moves with a 3s lipo. This was well worth adding to any rc collection. I will tell you my boys were excited to see this boat fly out of the water when I punched it. This is one fun boat. If I can give any recommendation about most any rc, before you take it out always check all your screws and fittings to make sure everything is snug and ready to go. I did find a few loose parts which from reading other reviews I was glad I checked everything. The flex shaft comes greased, but I greased it up to make sure I was good to go. The rubber foam gasket really does an amazing job keeping the water out even if you go in reverse. After having lots of fun and bring it in for the day I was surprised to only have a few teaspoons of water in it. Which I thought for sure going in reverse a few times having the water spill right over the back would have had more go inside, but it does really well keeping it out. Update: Well I decided to mount a GoPro Hero 4 Sessions on the Blackjack and it is real stable out on the water. I was amazed at how cool the ride along was. This sure is one fun rc boat to have. Still can't believe how fast it is. I did put together one sweet video on our YouTube channel with this boat. ... show more

  • This boat is fast as can be for the size ...
This boat is fast as can be for the size and price. Have been into R/C for 10+ years now and just giving the boat side of things a shot. Was shocked with how fast this thing turned as well as how fast the boat was in general. This boat will actually lift itself right out of the water at take off. Only issues as had was at full speed the boat doesnt push enough water through the water coolers so I had to add an aftermarket water cooler. ... show more

  • I’m so tired of product ads hiding things
It doesn’t come with a battery. They don’t make it easy to find one that works. This is not for a novice.
