This box is pretty awesome. I was able to set this up on my own take some photos and tear it back down in less then half an hour! It's pretty simple and straight forward for set up. The instructions are clear but aren't the most detailed and don't mention anything about how to place the pvs backgrounds on but it's pretty self explanatory with the velcro on the back and the velcro on the box! This has some pretty rough velcro making it decently durable I don't see it loosing it's sticky at anytime soon! This comes with everything you need to take photos the professional way! This has a lot of lights! There's an circle led strip on top and full square ones on the side that you'll cover with white cloths that are provided! This has a multitude of different lighting options from white to warm to warm white! This is exactly what I needed while I think the smaller one would have fit my needs I do do some rather large items and this works perfectly and when not in use it folds right back up super easily and stores conviently!

I have needed one of these photo softbox cubes for ages. Can't even guess how many times I have had to improvise background and lighting for eBay items and so forth. This is a real game changer. Easy to setup, big enough for most hand hold able items, and bright. Did I say bright? The LED illumination really floods the box and makes getting sharp product photos easy. Adjustable light levels and color temp. The included Mylar sheet backgrounds, in various colors, attach easily to the interior of the cube with Velcro. I would keep the shipping box to put away both the cube and the sheets together. If you have a ongoing need to make product photos this is a great buy.

For years I've struggled to take quality photos, especially of items that I sell online, so when I saw this pop up I decided to give it a try. And while I think this is a great solution to the problem of getting good images, there are a couple of things about this particular item that need to be pointed out. I'd call the assembly intuitive, but the instructions could be better. I'm also not a fan of the very thin strips of velcro on the edges that have the job of holding the light box together. I found it tricky to lay the velcro together precisely -- if you don't, the box won't stay together (or it will sag). The other issue I had is that the background panels are packed folded, meaning there's a significant crease down the middle of each of them. The unfortunate thing is that the crease faces outward, so it has the consequence of bulging out toward the inside of the light box when it's installed in the unit. I ended up laying the background panels flat and putting books on them to try to get the crease out. That being said, I did eventually get a good configuration and got some really great pictures with this light box on the first try. I did see another reviewer say that they wouldn't consider going smaller than this 24"x24" size, and I would have to agree. I'm not planning on folding it up and putting it away anytime soon based on the tricky nature of the assembly, but I like it and I'm glad to have it!
