This is the best drug store self tanner. I can spread it on with my hands, then just wash them and no color left on my palms. I have a pretty fair complexion, I wear light to medium foundation colors. Even color, buildable, fool proof. St. Tropez and Bondi Sands are darker in my opinion, but this is a great budget, super quick option. I have found really no difference in the Jergen's shade range. Wonderful product! Only takes a few minutes to dry adds instant color but the longer you leave on the darker it can be. Lasts a week or two on me personally. Leaves my skin soft and smooth. A little sticky at first but that goes away. The only reason for four stars is smell. When it's first applied it smells great. After a couple hours it starts to smell like the typical tan spray stuff. So I recommend putting it on before bed and shower in the morning. I find after I shower the smell is gone and I'm left with a wonderful tan. Not to dark but perfect. I'll buy again. My husband hates the after smell so I try to do it when he's busy lol. This has a slight tint to it so you can see where you’ve applied product to ensure even coverage. The foam has minimal scent and does not irritate the skin. I recommend using a tanning mitt for easier and smoother application. I did one layer one day and a second the next. I got so many compliments and questions on what I was using from coworkers and clients. Now I don’t feel as self conscious about wearing shorts or a skirt with my pale as a ghost legs! Sooo I wasn't sure how to rate the product. The application was super easy, I used latex gloves and rubbed it on like lotion after I exfoliated in the shower. It didn't streak at all. I left it on overnight and washed it off the next morning. The smell does linger a bit, but the color looks amazing. I'm usually really pale and my legs get purple from poor circulation, however I used Deep Bronze and it gave me an awesome bronze tan glow. I loved the color. Problem is I applied it from head to toe and ended up in the hospital twice within a week with severe symptoms. Horrible stomach pains where I can barely moved. Nausea and severe indigestion. Found out I'm allergic to the ingredients. Had multiple images done CT Scan, Ultrasound, Labwork, etc. Seriously twice in one week going to the hospital in tears and shaking from the stomach pains. They thought it was a ovarian torsion or maybe appendicitis, but no. I'm giving this 3 stars, because although it works, there should be warnings all over the place about allergic reactions. Upon doing more research after the last hospital visit, I have found soooo many other people who have had the same issues from self tanning products because it's absorbed into the body and can affect the liver and digestive system.
