I do not need any brushes but I needed this set as it is a mix set which I wanted specifically to use for my gouache. I have to say they are esoterically beautiful and so soft. Princeton brushes comes super close in quality as my synthetic Encodes highly recommend!

Bought this set as a gift for a friend who was starting water color painitng on a small-ish scale. Often people start with smaller brushes and don't get the expressiveness available in the brushes, so these will be good for her typical scale, less than 10x10in. I teach beginning painting lessons and these are the brushes I use the most. I've experimented with so many different brands but what I love about these is that they come all together in a set!
