I do have a mattress that’s around 12” thick and thankfully it sits on a nice looking base, otherwise I’d have to get a bed skirt and they went out many years ago. I had gotten this thinking that it included just the comforter. Silly me! I used these for my dorm room to make it feel cozier and more homey which was a success. The comforter has kept me warm on cold nights in the dorm, it is slightly weighted. That is probably my favorite part about it! The pillow cases are nice and soft. There are two with the opening in the middle and the other 2 are the opening on the end. I do believe this is a bang for your buck. There is so much that comes with it and it is durable. I do my laundry every week here and it has yet to rip or tear. Fourth more the packaging, when I received the package it was in an air tight bag. This made it easier for traveling to my dorm with it.

However, the size and warmth and the quality of this bedding and comforter is top-tier. I ordered a queen and if it’s very snug on my bed and turned my room into a beautiful green. For the money I feel this is great value. I bought it for a guest bedroom and used it for a few nights. The comforter is a little thinner than I thought it would be, but it's not terribly breathable so it still keeps me warm. Sheets were adequately soft. It's not a 400 bedding set but for 30-40 dollars it's as good as it can be.
