I never had any rust or scale in my old system or radiator and this radiator still cools WAY-WAY better and lower temperatures than the stock radiator. Seems to be built solid, I have had it installed over a year and works great. The alignment pegs at the bottom were a little too close together, but all I had to do is expand the mount holes on the truck a little with an air chisel and it fit perfect and solid with still using the stock rubber bushing. ... show more

    • Nothing fit right and it didn't last
Didn't come with the studs to secure battery cables. No big deal I zip tied it. Overflow fitting is totally the wrong size, I was able to correct it with some pipe fittings, annoying but not the end of the world. Drain valve is too big and didn't work. I replaced it with a plug. After approximately 2.5 years it started leaking profusely where the cores meet the tank. 0/10 junk ... show more

The radiator didn’t have the brackets on top of it for the factory wiring to mount to. Had to screw the wiring into the plastic fan shroud with a different mount.

    • Fits like crap
The radiator its self is good however, The drain will have to be removed and plugged as it will not clear the inter cooler pipe fittings, The bottom tabs are 1/4'' off and you will have to tweak them to get them to line up with the rubber pad mounts they go into on the truck. Replace the crappy radiator cap it comes with as well. This radiator did allow me to retain the factory shroud and fan but does not have the battery cable securing tabs. ... show more

    • Radiator was not a direct fit.
The radiator did not fit and required some minor modification to install, the dowels at the bottom of the radiator were a 1/2inch closer together then the mounting holes in 2000 Ram truck. Need to bend the upper bolting flanges to align the bots holes. The overflow tube plugged with metal debris. Some sharp corners were filed for safety. Packaging of the product was good, and it came with a new radiator cap. So far the radiator is performing fine, it was an increase in coolant quantity over the old unit. ... show more

    • Install sucks
01 Cummins install is not too slick. Drain plug hits on the inter cooler. Also the connection to the overflow tank is incorrect. Anyway got through the difficult install. Seems to cool ok.

    • Pretty good radiator, but could use some more Mounts.
This fit straight into the truck, with few issues, which I'll list. The fan shrowd bolted on with the 4 side bolts, but the bottom supports were missing, so I had to hold it to bolt it on. The battery cable running across the top has no tie downs, so I've put a sticky and a few cable ties until I get my son to weld on some bolt holes. The overflow was smaller than the OEM, so I had to rig it up and super tighten down a clamp and some silicon glue to not leak. Other than those, it is beautiful. The welds on the end cap are obviously TIG welded, and are beautifully done. Very strong joints all around. I installed a new 10 degree lower temp thermostat, water pump and hoses at the same time, and it works good. I turned off overdrive and purposely ran it up and down a mountain and it did way too fast up the mountain just fine with the temperature riding on the fan kicking off and on to keep temperature down, then cooled down quickly on the other side. Now if I could just get my 5th wheel going, I'd test it for real. ... show more
