I have bought these before and love them when I need to run outside for a minute and don’t want to put in a shirt, use at the pool, a warm jacket inside in winter when I don’t want to turn the heat way up, etc. Live them. Get the size right though! I’m 5’10” and weigh 148. I got the XXL and it fits like I like which is a bit roomy around the stomach. It’s length is exactly right at the waist and the shoulders fit very well. I do NOT like these tight. It wraps around my tummy about one length if needed (which is not needed actually!). It fits like a regular size full length bath robe should fit. The material feels like a cotton. The red one is a bit maroon in color and not a red red. The stitching is good. There are no stray threads that I can see. The fabric is not thin but it is not thick either. I also got the black one. I also had already bought the navy one years ago and still wear it all the time. Washes easily in a machine wash. Don’t use any bleach obviously.

Did not arrive on time, but that is minor to the size issue. After reading reviews ordered 2 sizes larger than a mens medium. Should have stuck to the size chart available. The XL was too big, boxy and not good fit for a woman with narrower shoulders. The red color is a burnt red (think red brick or red-brown) and would go with lots of other colors, and the jacket is well made. Had to send back based on size.

I ordered 2 medium sized jackets. They are a bit short and I'm only 5'5". The tops are also not very roomy for something that is supposed to have a loose fit. I am 150lbs and wear US adult medium or 40short suits in reference to size. I should have ordered a size up. build quality and materials are satisfactory, lightweight and airy but roughly textured.

This is so much nicer than I expected. Very happy with it. I normally wear a men’s medium/woman’s large in jackets so I got this in 2xl cause I like this style to fit oversized. It’s great. I could’ve probably gone smaller but I like this kind of fit. The embroidery is beautiful. I got the style that came with as much embroidery as possible even though I wasn’t sure how the unusual cut of the front might look on. It’s great. The front ties are a nice option for keeping it closed. It doesn’t have a lining or pocket so wouldn’t call it a jacket exactly, it’s more like a cardigan as the description also mentions. it’s very light Weight and just perfect for wearing in the house to take the chill out of the air. However it’s pretty enough to wear out which I will do with jeans and such. I was looking for something loose and comfy and like the this style of clothing but I don’t care for the polyester material they are often available in. This ended up exceeded expectations. Will probably get another one in another color after I see how it washes.

Fantastic somewhat thin garment for an elegant layered look. Color of garment is -very- accurately photographed. I have purchased Japanese made clothing enough that I know being a "medium" in most US shirt sizes, I needed a LARGE in Japanese clothing sizes. Noting this, the fit is excellent. If you are looking for a thick warm cardigan. This will not work for your purposes.

I’m 260 lbs easy and I got this in the xl bc that’s usually what I wear (xl USA). But I’m not fat to actually have it closed and fit perfectly. But I do love this kimono it’s kinda like a open button up t-shirt now until i lose weight.
