- Self Leveling & LED Indicator: With the switch to the "unlocked" side, the tool is in self-leveling mode, means the tool will level itself if it is within 4 of horizontal and the LED indicator keeps in Green. If the surface exceeds 4 from horizontal, the laser line will gone and the LED indicator goes red . In this case, adjust the angle of the surface slightly for leveling.
- Application: Slide the switch to "lock" side and press the button 3sec to turn on the laser in manual mode, lock lines for alignment to other angles, help you with paving tiles, installing photo or furniture carpentry, hanging wallpaper etc.
- Universal Usage: Comes with an rotatable 360 mount clamp to assemble with the 1/4"-20 nut at the bottom of the tool and clamp to door frame or work bench. You can also mount the tool to accessories like wall mount or tripod (not included). The tool can work under various applications which makes jobs done easier.

It works great, used this several times already. The only issue I have is the self-leveling feature. If you place it on a surface prone to vibration (i.e. the floor) it keeps re-leveling which is annoying. But that might be normal as this is my first laser level. Worth the money if you are doing anything that is required to be level or a straight line. I would suggest getting a cheap tripod (like the one used for photography lights). Makes is easier to move and get into the right position in lots of cases.

You really don’t need to pay more than a hundred bucks for a basic laser level. Many of my colleagues don’t buy one because they don’t trust the accuracy of it because it’s not one of the major tool brands. These devices work with a simple pendulum and laser lights on top of it. It’s really hard not to miss when you look if there’s an error on the device. I’m an installing technician and I say go for it. Makes your life way easier

This tool is good for creating a straight line. What you need to know is that line on a wall can be off level and needs to be checked. the tolerance of the level itself allows it to project a line on a wall that can actually be up to 5 degrees or more off level. For that reason, I can only recommend it to those who understand that it has limited usage.

It works mostly as advertised. Slots right into a standard tripod easy to adjust and to be sure you're level. Only caveat is that the green lase is difficult to see in some light conditions and that only gets worse the farther you get from the unit.
