The way this looks is so frickin cool! But you GOTTA do it right. You must have the no wipe top and the UV or LED drying light for gel nails. It took me about three times to get it somewhat right. It's best to use black or white base color, and then finish with the no wipe top, and then gently rub the powder on the nail (smooth over until you have the holograph look) and another layer of no wipe top.. This comes with everything needed to put this powder on, meaning the brush/pad. I did buy a liquid latex that I brush on which has helped when it comes to keeping my skin clean with this powder. I love how the color looks on my nail. However, what I learned was that you don't put the top coat on before putting this on, especially a matte top coat. I used 2 coats of color and then applied this powder. To apply, all I do is push the pad in the powder and that is more than enough to cover almost 2 nails. Once done, I then apply a top coat. From what I learned with the colors, if I use a light or white color on my nails, the hologram color looks lighter. If I use a dark or black color, the hologram looks darker. If I do get this on my skin, it does wash off fairly easily, unless I get in the crease which then I use an old toothbrush. ... show more

This was easy to use and shipping was very fast. I used a a non-wipe gel top coat and found if I cured the nail under the UV lights for only 45 secs, it remained "tacky" enough for the powder to adhere well. If I went longer, it dried too well and the powder didn't stick as well. It's a small tweaking process based on what products and equipment you use or have. ... show more

The product only looks like the picture in certain lighting. And it’s not as vivid as the picture when it works honestly. When out of that particular lighting it’s a milky grey. The container has plenty and the applicator sticks are very good quality. I just wished it looked like the picture all the time. Comes with instructions. The media could not be loaded. Very easy to use. Loved that the product came with instructions for first time users. Used a grey base gel polish in pictures. Product is very pigmented. A little bit goes a long way. Will definitely be buying from Pretty Diva again when this pot runs out.

This was advertised as holographic. It is not. I had it applied by my professional manicure and it is shiny and glittery but not at all holographic. I am very disappointed. Don't buy it you are looking for the holographic effect.
