Description

Classic dual head stethoscope made from anodized aluminum for extreme lightweight. Fiberglass diaphragm side detects S1 and S2 heart sounds as well as Korotkoff sounds. Bell side is optimally designed for assessing S3 and S4 heart sounds. Incorporates a Snap-On diaphragm retaining ring and a non-chill bell ring which contributes to the ease of use and maintenance, while enhancing patient comfort. I had hopes for this despite the cheaper price point as the reviews looked great and I needed something quick as a backup since my ear tips broke on my good MDF stethoscope however this honestly doesn’t even have that great of sound. At my hospital we have isolation stethoscopes that look like they’re from fisher price and those have better sound quality than this one. Hopefully I can get a refund ... show more

Bought this because the one school assigned us was terrible! I couldn't hear anything. I was surprised how well I could hear on this stethoscope. I now own a Littman and feel like the quality of this one is almost as good as my Littman. I had a littman light that I replaced my littman select with. I could hear hardly nothing, and didn’t want to spend the money for another select. This stethoscope is comparable to my select for a fourth of the cost. Well worth every penny.

I could not hear well out of this stethoscope at all using either the diaphragm or bell. After several tries of checking blood pressure on several different patients, I gave up. I give it 3 stars because I love the hot pink color. But overall I was not impressed.
