I'm a new CPR Instructor, but I've been a lifeguard fo over 6 years. I've never heard of built in accuracy monitors until my most recent recert and I new this is what I wanted. My customers are equally surprised and love the technology! 2 things though: the infants are really hard to compress with 2 fingers. Maybe its more like a real life baby, and I'm just not used to it, but it's a lot different than any other infant dummy I'm used to. AAAAAND, the child is kind of useless. Only take him out for a larger class to practice like an adult. I guess it'll come in handy when I teach baby sitters ... show more

    • The lights on these make my life as an instructor so much easier
I am a First Aid/CPR/AED trainer and these things are rugged! One of the deciding factors in me purchasing these over others was the light indicators on the shoulder. Most manikins only have the "clicker" in the chest to let you know that you are pressing down far enough and that sometimes takes the trainee's attention away from the cadence. However, these have lights on the shoulder that light red, orange or green. Red means you are not pressing hard enough or your cadence is wrong. Orange is the mid point..meaning you are slightly off and green means that you are doing everything correctly. My students are always amazed when they see this and it gives them a visual reference to let them know that they are doing a good job. ... show more

These manikins are great. The price is SPOT ON because I really shopped around for months before making this purchase and I couldn't find a better price. They are great quality, realistic, easy to use. The indicator light is a neat feature that I didn't even plan on getting, but these included it even though they were cheaper than the ones I had been looking at on another site that didn't include them. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five is because of the way the lungs work. I don't really like that the only way you can make the chest rise and fall is to have a "mask" that is also a lung. I teach mostly healthcare professionals and almost always use a BVM (bag-valve-mask) to administer breaths, its almost never mouth-to-mouth, and so it is a little awkward to have the bag mask positioned over the plastic mask that goes on the manikin. I wish there were some kind of lung I could put in them that wouldn't include a mask over the face for when I am using the BVMs. However, these manikins were hands down the best quality for the price, and really are great. ... show more

I teach CPR classes daily and my students LOVE these. They think the lights are so cool & I get comments all the time on my evaluations about how students loved the mannequins. It's great as an instructor to be able to monitor several students at one time and it really helps the students get a feel for both the depth and speed of compressions. ... show more
