The Prepared Hero Blanket is a game-changer in fire safety, and it has quickly become a must-have in both my kitchen. This is 39" X 39" in size (the post says 40" X 40", which is incorrect). This blanket is a reliable and convenient solution for extinguishing small fires, offering peace of mind and swift action in case of emergencies. I feel what sets this product apart is its simplicity and effectiveness. The size is perfect for quick and efficient coverage, and its compact design makes it easy to store in a variety of spaces. The last thing you want during a fire emergency is fumbling for a large, cumbersome tool – the Prepared Hero Blanket eliminates that concern with its user-friendly design. Its versatility is a major plus. Whether you're indoors dealing with a kitchen mishap or outdoors on a camping trip, having the Prepared Hero Blanket on hand is like having a reliable fire extinguisher in a compact, lightweight form. In conclusion, the Prepared Hero Blanket is a stellar addition to any home or outdoor safety kit.

So i received the fire blankets and took a quick gander. Well made, simple to employ. Good sized to cover BBQ, stove and other sources that could have a "fire incident". Placed one in the kitchen, one in the garage and one upstairs adjacent fire extinguishers. Just a good tool to add to my fire safety and mitigation kit.

When material caught fire inside our laser engraver, the flames rose quickly. This blanket instantly put out the fire on the top side of the machine. Unfortunately I only had one on hand, and the fire had also spread to another compartment, so I had to use a fire extinguisher on that side (which made a mess and may have ruined more of the machine components). I will be buying more of these blankets now so if this ever happens again, I can smother the flames from both sides of the machine. The blanket was much faster and cleaner than the fire extinguisher. I'm also gonna buy one for every person I know because these things are amazing. Firefighters had already been called, and when they arrived they informed me that the foam packaging from my newly delivered printer is essentially as flamable as gasoline, and it was sitting only a few feet away. It was extremely important that we'd been able to control the fire quickly enough to avoid it spreading outside the machine. If it hadn't been for this blanket, I'm not sure if we'd still have a house right now. It's not just marketing. This works.

I bought a family home that had a fire extinguisher in my furnace room. It looks like it’s in good condition, but when I saw the Prepared Hero Fire Blanket and how it worked, it seemed like a no brainer to have another way to deal with a fire. Also, it looks very easy to use. I feel like I’m ready for any possibility.

The blanket is made of fiber glass do not touch unless for emergency or the particles will go into your skin and hurt very badly. That was my mistake. The blanket works great for extinguishing fires otherwise.

I watched a video of the importance to have one of this fire blankets, so I did not hesitate and got two for my apartment. Hope never have to use it, but I know that it will help to keep us safe.

This is a GREAT investment. Within the first week of purchasing this, we had a bizarre and random fire spark in our microwave (this has never happened before) but the fire blanket saved our home and lives! It worked perfectly. It put out the fire immediately. I believe it's multi-use, so it's back in the bag next to our stove in case we ever need it again (hopefully we don't)!
