Like other reviewers noted, mine arrived with damage to the outside of one of the doors. There was about a quarter sized chunk of the finish layer missing because the box had gotten damaged in shipping. This could be easily remedied if the manufacturer would simply add a layer of foam between the door and the box and consider flipping the outer face of the door towards the inside of the box. I've got to give props to the manufacturer though because you can go to their website and order any broken or missing items at no extra charge. You just need to know the part number, model number, and color code which can all be found in the included documentation. Pros: looks great, as sturdy as any flat packed furniture could be, easy to assemble A lot of people say that the doors have a big gap between them. That's not true. There are two points of adjustment on the hinges that allow you to move them further apart or closer together. One door hanging crooked? Just adjust the top and bottom hinge so that it hangs straight. Cons: The screw caps don't sit flush with the surface (see photo). Also the finish layer is not the typical durable plastic veneer/laminate. It is basically contact paper which will not be very durable over time. I'm pleased with the end product, but you need to keep your expectations appropriate. This is flat pack furniture, not fine wood furniture. It's particle board, MDF, and contact paper. Is it worth the list price? Not really. But if you just need something decent for storage and don't want to spend forever searching through antique stores, garage sales, and FB marketplace...then maybe it is. ... show more

I was able to assemble this cabinet in less than an hour with the help of my four-year-old. My four-year-old absolutely made this go slower than it should have so take that as you will. The unit is well made for the price and looks clean. We will be using it for garage storage. As far as the doors go there aren't any issues whatsoever. All of the reviews that talk about gaps between the doors are clearly due to the fact that people did not read the instructions in which it states that the hinges are six way adjustable. My doors also had a 1-inch gap between them when I first assembled it but by looking at page 8 of the instructions it clearly shows you how to easily adjust the doors. In less than 2 minutes I was able to unscrew for screws and get my doors perfectly lined up. I included a picture of this page just to prove to everyone that it doesn't facts tell you how to adjust it and it does in fact work. I know there was someone on here that reviewed these cabinets lower because they've came damaged which I understand but also because she had hired someone to assemble the cabinets and they all had gaps. I hate to say it but the people probably didn't really know what they were doing and didn't take the time to read the instructions and play with it for about two whole minutes to get the doors right. That's just a shame. There are even reminders throughout the instruction manual that they have videos online on how to adjust hinges and product support. I really don't think they could have made it any more idiot-proof but maybe that's just the way that I look at it! If you have this cabinet and your doors have a gap take a look at the picture that I posted with the instruction manual and make a few adjustments and you will be happy. I would give this 5 stars for the money and the construction and the ease of the project however there were some small scratches along the edges of the doors out of the box. I'm a little concerned about how well this will stand up but to be honest it is particle board and I'm sure I could easily touch it up with some paint. If it came with door bumpers so that they didn't make that loud clacking noise when they closed and a little touch up paint I would give this 5 stars. I did use a electric drill just to speed up the process of screwing in the screws and then when I got to the end I hand tighten them to make sure that they weren't over torqued or stripped. I'm a skinny girl with my own toolbox and was able to build this in my kitchen very easily. It will be harder for me to figure out how to get it into the garage then the actual assembly was. The box was in fact very heavy and awkward so be very careful laying it down and trying to open it up. I had zero damage on the corners no broken pieces on all of my Hardware was included including a piece of paper that reminded you to stop and look inside the foam for the extra Hardware. For $150 for a tall clean cabinet I think this is a great value. And I cannot stress enough the need to read the instructions when it comes to the door hardware. They are kind of confusing as are all cabinet door hinges. But the instructions make it very easy to understand to loosen one screw and tighten another and boom your doors go exactly where you want them to go. The reviewers that give this item lower ratings because they were unable to read and follow the instructions is kind of unfair in my opinion. I would say that I am somewhat mechanically inclined however I am a female and a mom and I don't go around building things for a living and I was able to figure this out very easily and quickly. It honestly took me more time to figure out how to get it inside the house from where they delivered it at my front door and how to unpack it without killing myself because it's very heavy than it did to actually assemble the whole thing. ... show more

These look so good in my space. The boxes are soooo heavy. I think a lot of the negative reviews about damage are just because the boxes are so heavy so the pieces are easily damaged in shipping. I had a few spots, but overall they arrived in good shape. They provide a touch-up marker. I think some damage cannot be avoided. They are really easy to put together. The hardest part is securing them to the wall and getting the smaller upper cabinets on top if you order those. Some of the negative comments are also about the doors not fitting on straight. There are many ways to adjust the doors and I'm wondering if they just didn't know how to do that? They are really easy to adjust and make them even. ... show more

The cabinets are sturdy and went together with a minimum of effort - I'm 76 years old and I could maneuver the boxes and the cabinets, and got them assembled with no issues. However, my son accepted the shipment when I wasn't available, and when I looked at the boxes I was horrified. Had I been there, I would have refused to accept delivery. Several areas had been torn open, and one of the doors has a deep gouge in it. I've fixed that, but shouldn't have had to. Also some of the corners were damaged, it looks like by the box being dropped, and one of the cabinets has a rear upper cornet visibly damaged. I'd have given Prepac 5 stars on these if not for the condition in which they arrived. My wife wants me to order one more cabinet. I will deal with Prepac again, but UPS be warned. If you try to deliver mishandled and damaged items this time, you'll have to haul them back to the shipper. We'll keep doing that until you deliver undamaged goods. ... show more
