Definitely worth the price

Very sturdy and reasonably easy to assemble. Having the pieces marked would have helped. Looks great and holds a lot of items as a linen closet in the bathroom.

This is one Helluva Cabinet! I need to order like 3 more of these, and achieve organization perfection
Style: Flat Doors Size: 16" D x 32" W x 65" H Color: White
I really wanted a black storage cabinet, but after realizing that all of the black storage cabinets available are flimsy, I decided to get this one and paint it black. This is one sturdy cabinet! It arrived in a big, heavy package, and I had to help the UPS driver get it off her truck. Rather than try to carry it up my driveway, I took a boxcutter and opened it right on my lawn, then carried it up a few pieces at a time. The directions are super-easy to follow, and I decided that it would be fun to complicate things by building a platform on wheels, upon which to erect this mighty cabinet. My husband cussed up a storm, but successfully completed both the platform on wheels and the cabinet assembly in a single afternoon. I would have done it myself, but he commandeered the project under the guise of "helping". Works every time! Seriously, I don't know how we ever managed to live without this cabinet. It holds a ton of stuff, and it looks fantastic! In fact, it looked great in white, with its nice modern handles, so I decided to hold off on the painting. I did, however, add two more shelves, just because I could. This was incredibly easy - I took one of the shelves to my local big orange box store, and had the guy in lumber cut me two more pieces of the shelf material to the exact same size. This was so cheap I thought they must have miscalculated the price, and I got to keep the uncut leftover piece for my next project, a linen closet with adjustable shelves. I bought a little package of shelf peg thingies there, too. Now, the holes for the shelf peg thingies don't go all the way up and down inside the entire cabinet, which means you are slightly limited in your shelf placement, unless you decide to drill more holes. However, it worked out perfectly for me -- I moved both of the movable shelves and their pegs to the highest position, and added my extra shelves and pegs to the lowest positions, which created two extra "mini-shelves" tall enough for cans of soup, boxes of jello, skillets, etc. The four "tall" shelves are plenty tall enough for everything tall, or everything medium, stacked double. Plus, the very top of the cabinet is like another shelf. The total amount of storage space is stunning. I want to get at least three more of these, for the garage, the laundry room, and the extra bedroom where we put assorted items we don't know where to put. "A place for everything, and everything in its place" might actually happen! I can't think of a single negative about this cabinet. If I had to come up with something negative, just so you know it's a real review from a genuine human cabinet consumer, not some fake one written by someone getting paid one-half an American dollar to write fake reviews, it would be that the packaging material is unbelievably sturdy. Seriously, I went through like four blades on my husband's boxcutter thingie, cutting up the packaging material so I could bag it up for the trash guys. In hindsight, I should have removed the shipping labels and put it out by the curb with a big sign, "Hey kids! FREE Clubhouse! FREE Fort!" ... show more

Doors close well, assembly fast, minor scratches

I was able to assemble this cabinet in less than an hour with the help of my four-year-old. My four-year-old absolutely made this go slower than it should have so take that as you will. The unit is well made for the price and looks clean. We will be using it for garage storage. As far as the doors go there aren't any issues whatsoever. All of the reviews that talk about gaps between the doors are clearly due to the fact that people did not read the instructions in which it states that the hinges are six way adjustable. My doors also had a 1-inch gap between them when I first assembled it but by looking at page 8 of the instructions it clearly shows you how to easily adjust the doors. In less than 2 minutes I was able to unscrew for screws and get my doors perfectly lined up. I included a picture of this page just to prove to everyone that it doesn't facts tell you how to adjust it and it does in fact work. I know there was someone on here that reviewed these cabinets lower because they've came damaged which I understand but also because she had hired someone to assemble the cabinets and they all had gaps. I hate to say it but the people probably didn't really know what they were doing and didn't take the time to read the instructions and play with it for about two whole minutes to get the doors right. That's just a shame. There are even reminders throughout the instruction manual that they have videos online on how to adjust hinges and product support. I really don't think they could have made it any more idiot-proof but maybe that's just the way that I look at it! If you have this cabinet and your doors have a gap take a look at the picture that I posted with the instruction manual and make a few adjustments and you will be happy. I would give this 5 stars for the money and the construction and the ease of the project however there were some small scratches along the edges of the doors out of the box. I'm a little concerned about how well this will stand up but to be honest it is particle board and I'm sure I could easily touch it up with some paint. If it came with door bumpers so that they didn't make that loud clacking noise when they closed and a little touch up paint I would give this 5 stars. I did use a electric drill just to speed up the process of screwing in the screws and then when I got to the end I hand tighten them to make sure that they weren't over torqued or stripped. I'm a skinny girl with my own toolbox and was able to build this in my kitchen very easily. It will be harder for me to figure out how to get it into the garage then the actual assembly was. The box was in fact very heavy and awkward so be very careful laying it down and trying to open it up. I had zero damage on the corners no broken pieces on all of my Hardware was included including a piece of paper that reminded you to stop and look inside the foam for the extra Hardware. For $150 for a tall clean cabinet I think this is a great value. And I cannot stress enough the need to read the instructions when it comes to the door hardware. They are kind of confusing as are all cabinet door hinges. But the instructions make it very easy to understand to loosen one screw and tighten another and boom your doors go exactly where you want them to go. The reviewers that give this item lower ratings because they were unable to read and follow the instructions is kind of unfair in my opinion. I would say that I am somewhat mechanically inclined however I am a female and a mom and I don't go around building things for a living and I was able to figure this out very easily and quickly. It honestly took me more time to figure out how to get it inside the house from where they delivered it at my front door and how to unpack it without killing myself because it's very heavy than it did to actually assemble the whole thing. ... show more

This cabinet was easy to assemble. It took 1-2 hours from start to finish. The hardest part was adjusting the gap between the doors. I learned that you have to loosen the yellow screw before loosening the blue screw or you can’t adjust the gap. I put 32 containers from Costco’s Option Creative and JoAnn’s Top Notch. I put 30 pounds per shelf even though it said 20 max. The oak color has a greenish undertone. It’s well built and heavy duty. I recommend this cabinet. ... show more

We still wonder how the Amazon Delivery Person was able to lift this heavy package. We had to unpack it and bring it in piece by piece. When we asssempled it and had it standing right there, we were impressed by the quality and the way it was prepared to be assempled. Super Closet, the handle top notch! Thank you! ... show more
