The last couple dressers I put together were such a headache and I was worried that this one was going to be too but it was so simple to put together. Took me an hr and half by myself. The tracks for the drawers are color coded and it was the absolute highlight of this assembly. All dressers should do this. Although the dresser is aesthetically pleasing and very well made, there is one unexplainable peculiarity. The fibre-board upper-half of the back can't be aesthetically [or functionally] tacked on It won't work! I just finished modifying the closing of the upper-back, gluing on a lip around the full margin -- on a single plane. One can then glue on an inset peg-board upper-half: peg-board is cheap and easily cut with a fine hand-saw. A good sturdy & inexpensive dresser. The drawers aren’t particularly deep or spacious; we’re mostly using these to store bed linens (small apartment with no linen closet) and as a TV stand for our bedroom. Giving 4 stars because it was a total pain to assemble. Took my fiancé and I 3.5 hours to put it together. The instruction booklet is for a few different kinds of dressers that the company produces so the instructions are vague. The pieces are not labeled, so you have to guess which piece is what. The booklet also just completely skipped over a step (where you have to put the top of the dresser on before attaching the upper backing). The wood also came damaged (see 2nd picture), which is especially a shame because it is exterior facing. There was also some kind of dried adhesive drips on the bottom of the faces of one of the drawers. Overall, it is a good and sturdy dresser. I just wish it were easier & faster to assemble, and that all of the pieces had arrived fully clean and not damaged. ... show more

I am writing this so others can know what I wish I knew before buying this. The negatives: The dresser took over 2 hours to put together with myself and my partner, not 45 minutes as it states. We were missing a screw, so I included the picture of what extra screw you’d need if you’re missing the same one. We were missing a screw for the knob, it is 1 inch in length and the diameter of the head of the screw is a half inch. You could probably get a replacement from your local Lowe’s, we just haven’t had the chance to yet which is why there’s a knob missing in my picture. The appearance is okay, as the dresser does show finger smudges very, very easily. Even with it being black which is what I was hoping it would hide. The positives: The depth of the drawers is nice and everything fits nicely. The dresser measurements are accurate. It was pretty easy to move and wasn’t too heavy once we got it built. The holes and screws all fit into each other nice. The performance of the dresser is pretty decent, no scratch marks yet and we’ve had it for three weeks. For the money it’s a decent dresser, but frustrating to miss a screw and some of the appearance issues. Hope this helps! ... show more

I like this dresser because it’s gender neutral and I can use it for more than one kid. The white color will match with every nursery theme. This was very easy for my husband who hates to build to put together. Only a few choice words were used when building lol. It took my husband a couple hours to put together which is outstanding for him. Some parts of this was a 2 person job when it came to putting in the screws, alignment of the holes, and holding it up. They provide you with enough screws and some extras to get the job done. It is a very sturdy dresser and will hold up great over time. It is long and wide enough to fit a changing table mat on top of for diaper changes and still has enough room for a lamp and a little diaper wipe station. It is not to big and not to small the perfect size for any nursery. The dresser has enough room to fit all your newborns sized clothes. There are 6 separate very spacious drawers. I have a drawer for 0-3 months, 3-6, 6-9, 9-12,12-18, and 18-24. This dresser holds up to the test and the performance is a 10/10. Great value for the price. ... show more

For the price point, it’s a really great dresser. It arrived earlier than expected and none of the pieces were broken/damaged. Here are a few things to note: 1. The box is HEAVY. All pieces come together in one big box. I can see how others may have received damaged parts because it’s not packaged the best. 2. Parts aren’t labeled however it’s really easy to figure out from the pictures. 3. Assembly is possible with one person. I’m 35 and I put this together by myself and it took about 2 1/2 -3hrs. However, if you have two people, I would recommend having one person do the drawers while the other build the dresser. It will save so much time! I don’t know if I would use this for adult clothing as I would want something with more weight to it, but for a nursery or child’s room, it’s perfect. Hope this helps! ... show more
