    • The only mat for heated classes
I love this mat! I mostly do hot yoga and regular mats end up slippery or you get a grip towel and have to fix it every 2 seconds. And I have very sensitive skin and most mats would cause irritation. I've been using this one for almost a year at least twice a week to hot yoga sculpt classes. Instead of the sweat just pooling on the mat, it soaks up the sweat and the more sweat the better grip. The cleaning process is more than other types especially after hot yoga, so I only use it for hot yoga now. When I get home I unroll it and spray lightly with a natural cleaner to draw out the sweat salts and then you soak that baby with a really wet with just water towel. Natural cork and rubber are water repellent and if placed under a fan it dries unbelievably quick for how much water you soaked it in. Also with the hot sculpt classes there's a lot of jumping around and light yoga mats flop all over the place no matter the material. This mat has weight! It's like 7 pounds and just lays perfectly flat the second you unroll it. No curled ends. It's by far my favorite mat for heated yoga and will never go corkless again. I've had it almost a year and it's gotten miles on it and it's still in perfect durable condition after all that use. I also love the design for placement. It has definitely made having body parts equally spaced here and there without having to check the mirror. I barely look at the mat now bc my brain knows where the lines are. After almost a year there are a few strings on the outer edge but it doesn't seem to be falling apart. And if I have to eventually get another one I feel I for sure got my money's worth and would buy this same one again. If you don't properly clean it pretty quickly after a sweat sesh you will ruin it and or hate it. Just make a few minutes of extra cleaning part of your practice and it will last a long time. I even keep it in my trunk full of junk most of the time so it gets knocked around by tool boxes and who knows what back there and it's held up to my abuse far better than the 2 other yoga mats a keep in my trunk which are falling apart bc they aren't cork and rubber.     • Ample size yoga mat
This was an investment considering the price of this yoga. I struggled with making this purchase because of the price. However, it is quality mat. I very much like the length. It's wider than average mats, but another 1" wide would make it even better. It's smooth and provides a bit more cushion than other mats. As others have stated it is a bit heavy, but that is to be expected with the material make up. I don't use it outside of my house so that's not a problem for me. However, the ends have remained slightly curled, and I've had it lying flat since it arrived about 3 weeks ago. I attempted to roll it in the opposite direction, but I could see where that would cause the cork to crack. Also, I have found that my hands have slipped a little while doing some poses, so be careful as its not as grippy as advertised. Maybe it is when doing hot yoga, but I don't practice hot yoga so I don't know. ... show more

Great mat. I actually purchased this one as a birthday present because I liked mine do much. It was well received. It stays in place well and being oversized it allows you more space in crowded gyms.

So far this seems to be a quality mat. At 5mm thick it gives good support and is comfortable.It is pretty heavy making it cumbersome to bring to class. I have a nice yoga bag to carry it which helps. The mat does come w/its own very nice carrying strap. I especially like that it is made of non toxic cork and natural rubber. The guide lines are helpful, too. It was a good buy as I managed to get it on sale. I would recommend it and if things change will provide an update. ... show more
