The media could not be loaded. I read that some people were dissatisfied that their floss was polyester and not cotton. Mine says 100% cotton on each skein and it is definitely cotton. It’s not quite DMC quality … it’s more like Anchor … but I needed a questionable color of blue for a counted cross stitch project and this selection gave me a great range of blues to choose from. I found the perfect color in this selection for my project so it was a good purchase for me. These aren't DMC threads even though my search was specific for that not sure how you slid that in through but lesson learned. The thread was actually tough to work with; it was hard rather than what embroidery thread is which is softer. If your preferences is more of a harder/tougher thread then by all means, purchase it. . ... show more

I bought these and another pack for making friendship bracelets and although the color variation is fantastic the quality of thread is not that great. To describe the texture it’s honestly rough feeling and does not leave a nice finish for the bracelets. Mildly disappointed but the colors made it worth it! ... show more

For the *price*, this is perfectly fine string. But compared to nicer brands, it kind of sucks. The colors are nice & it gets the job done, but it does occasionally rip so you wind up getting little tuffs in your stitches like these. It's also very course, so it doesn't lay flat or blend in the way brands like DMC do. If you're a beginner or don't plan on ever displaying/selling your work, buy this string. I bought this when beginning my embroidery hobby. This thread has a habit of constantly tangling while stitching; ie the strands separate and knot in on themselves. If you look at pricing for another well known name brand (dee-em-see), these are maybe a few cents cheaper per skein. I’d rather spend a few extra cents per skein for a better product. Also the thread feels stiff like it’s got some type of starch coating on them. ... show more
