I've had this for about 2 weeks and so far I love it! I bought this specifically for the dual heated zones. My feet are always cold and this one has seperate upper and lower body sections. It gives you the option to use it very warm on your feet while keeping it lower on your upper body. I am very picky about my blanket and I only like lightweight blankets. I can't take a lot of weight on my legs/feet so I use a very light muslin blanket(glorified sheet)and using this heated matress pad has been a game changer. I do live in Atlanta area so it doesn't get too cold here but this allows me to use my super lightweight blanket and still keep the heat down to save money. This pad heats up very quickly and gets very warm. I start out with it on 9 on the feet and upper body. Within about 30 minutes when I am ready to go to sleep, I turn it down to 2-3 depending on how cold it is in my house. That generally keeps me warm all night! I have read other reviews and some suggestions that they want a "memory" setting and preheat. I wouldn't even worry about that because all you have to do is set it in the morning before you get out of bed. Before I turn it off, I put it to 9 on both upper and lower and set time for 8 hours. The controller will default to the last setting, so when I click it off it's set for that night. Before I get into bed, I just click it on and it comes on to the last setting. And preheat is not necessary because it heats up quickly. Don't hesitate to try this heated matress pad, so worth it! The controller is easy to understand and gets quite bright to read the settings but the light goes out very quickly. The other awesome feature is the zip off pad for washing. This way you don't have to remove the whole mattress pad-just zip the topper off and wash it. The heating elements are under the pad so they never see the washer or dryer...Brilliant! The one thing that is a small issue is the location of the controller cord. It is a short-ish cord and comes out from the right head of the pad. Unfortunately my nightstand is on the left side so I have had to get creative with the controller. The short cord seems a little counter intuitive but I've worked it out satisfactorily. Don't let this little problem be bigger than it is, just get creative and you will not be sorry!

Almost perfect!

I waited a year to write this review. I knew I loved it from day one but wanted to make sure it held up. AND I STILL LOVE IT! It does exactly what it says it does. Wide range of temperatures and you can set the time for one hour all the way up to having it on all night. I am able to heat my lower body/feet separately (my feet are always cold) from my upper body. I like that the controller is attached at the top and not the bottom. I took off one star because it is impossible to look at the controls at night when the room is dark. Once you touch a button a blinding blue light comes on making it impossible to see to make adjustments. I do manage to change the settings without looking at it, just by touch, but that usually causes me to inadvertently hit some wrong buttons too. Even with this annoying feature I still recommend it!

Best Heated Mattress Pad Ever

I've had many heated mattress pads - this is by far the best. The top and bottom settings work great, I use 4 on the feet and 2 on the upper body. It heats up quickly. The time control is adjustable so you can have it turn off after a few hours in canse you only want it in the beginning of your sleep. I set it at 8 hours so I get the whole night,b ut it goes off soon after I ger up even if I forget. The detachable cover has two benefits, you can wash it with out washing the electrical components an the separation prevents feeling the wires when you Lay on the mattress. The controls are designed well. The controls are easy to adjust even in complete darkness. You can do it by feel, but the display backlights in blue briefly, then goes out. The wires attach to the bottom of the control, so it is set on a bed stand or headboard without having to put it up side down.. The attachment for the wires to the pad are convenient located on the top right so your feet to run into the connection when lying on it. Don't scrimp on something cheaper. This is the one.

Upper and Lower Controlled Zones are Superb !

I really like this design, the upper and lower adjustable zones are a far superior option to a single control for each side. (I bought the Queen size version with two controllers, one for the Left and one for the Right side). I have owned and used a few different heated mattress toppers prior to this purchase. Naturally our bodies generate more heat from our upper body than our lower legs / feet and it is logical to require different supplemental warming levels for comfortable sleep. The topper seems to be a high quality product with the heating elements hidden away inside a padded layer with a zipper for access to wash the cover. It was all very easy to install with plenty of depth for deep mattresses and didn't require more than two hands or superhuman stretching to install on my bed. The wiring and controllers (two controllers) each require their own electrical socket on each side of the bed, ideal for my set up but for some may need a little extra planning. Controllers themselves are easy and intuitive to use, the display backlight is very bright (great for daylight use but perhaps a little glaring at night - but the backlight only stays on for a short time after a key-press and then automatically turns off), The buttons are easy to feel and use and, after a few nights, I'll be able to make adjustments without even needing to look at the screen. I very much like the big ON/OFF switch on each controller, it's a no nonsense fuss free way to be sure the unit is off after you get up and start your day. On power up, the controllers default to heat level 9 (max) and 12 Hours of operation - handy if you've forgotten to warm up the bed beforehand but also means you will need to adjust the levels and timing to your particular specific liking each time. The timer options are 1 thru' 9 Hours or 12 Hours (H) duration. In today's world of low cost microelectronics, it is a shame the unit doesn't have a "Save Favorite Setting" option to change the power up defaults, it would have only cost a few pennies more to do this (yes, I am an EE Engineer). On the same note, I'd happily pay $30-$40 more for smart control of this device using Alexa and/or a Smartphone App. Despite the rather odd location where the power cables exit the top of the pad near the edge on each side, I didn't once experience any discomfort caused by that feature. The same goes for the actual heating elements - you know they are there (hard to escape that on any heated product similar to this) but not once did I feel them. It's still early days in my experience but my first impressions are very positive.

Quick, easy and simple installation.

Excellent packaging. Instructions for a different model. Controls are upside down. Excellent chord. Placement of the controller cord is well thought out.The controllers don't match and are not logical. The timer is in single digits and than "H". According to the wrong instructions "H" means "hot??? Does that mean an added hour? For feet you have single digit adjusting. For the body 10 degree adjustments. The body adjustments on one side 53, 63,73, 83, but on the opposite side 54, 64,74,84? It would seem the feet could be in 10 degree increments while the feet should be in ten degree increments. Heats up quickly. Comfortable. Skirts are typically not as stated. I have a 14 inch mattress that only expanded to 12 inch height. The skirt will barely reach to the underside of the mattress. All fitted sheets, I have used are the same. That means the heating pad will move around. With a deeper mattress you could still be satisfied if you used the elasticized bands under the mattress stretching to the skirts. My mattress is heavy, meaning the solution is not practical The pad is truly a queen size as stated. If the unit lasts I will update in the future with durability.

This mattress heater has honestly been a game-changer for our sleep.

The dual-zone heating is the absolute standout feature. I can keep my side warm and cozy while the other side stays cooler, which is perfect because our dog sleeps at the foot of the bed. I never have to worry about her getting too hot, and I don’t have to sacrifice my own comfort either. That balance alone makes this product worth it for us. The temperature control is precise and responsive. It heats evenly without hot spots, and it doesn’t feel overly dry or artificial like some heating products do. Just smooth, consistent warmth that makes getting into bed so much more comfortable, especially on cold nights. Another thing I love is the peace of mind. Knowing I can control each region separately means everyone in the bed....humans and pets included.....can sleep safely and comfortably.
