I have a Cricut Explore and thought I'd run this with my permanent vinyl. It was easy to load and had no issues cutting. My stickers actually had some finer details which didn't seem to have any problems. The weeding was only a bit difficult due to the complexity of the design rather than the cut. I haven't tried it on other mediums as of yet, but seems like an inexpensive replacement for Cricut brand cartridges and blades. For the present price of $10.99, it seems worth it just for the cartridge. ... show more

This blade worked fine in my Cricut Explorer 3 machine. This housing comes with 3 blades which are held into the housing with a magnet. The unit fit and worked just like the original blade did. It cut vinyl cleanly and precisely at the right depth. I’m very happy to have this extra blade set as a great backup for the original blade. It’s always good to have a spare that works well. I have an original Cricut maker, and while I love the machine, the blades are expensive. This fine-point blade seems to work identically to the factory blade for a lot less. I'm happy with the performance and couldn't tell a difference in my cuts. If you need a replacement blade and want to save money, this is a good choice. Other than the slight color difference in the housing, I don't think I could tell the two apart. Most of my work is with cardstock and paper - not vinyl - so my testing was on paper cuts, not vinyl, FYI! I did not try this on vinyl, but given the performance on paper, I'm happy! ... show more
