Received this mat as a Christmas gift, while I have been trying to improve my golf game! The size is perfect, the types of grass on it are really good as well to train for a real game on the course. It came well packaged. I've been using it for almost a month, and it holds up really well to repeated (bad) swings. I can't wait to improve - and this is the perfect mat to do it with! Highly recommend! The only downside is that there is quite a weird smell when you first get it, but we just left it outside for a couple days to air out and then it was totally fine after that.

Our golf boosters program bought this for the high school golf program. The coaches are offering volunteer swing training and technical sessions throughout the winter until the weather breaks. Great value, coach says they laid flat after opening and work really well for the intended use. Seem durable and will be used by multiple teams as an investment in the future of the program! Thankful for the reviews that helped the coach select this mat!

I have owned several golf hitting mats. This mat is well built with good features. There is one design flaw. With the rough portion on the far side of a right-hand user there is only 40" from the golf tee holes to the back of the mat. That means the golfers feet extend over the back edge of the mat when using the tees. I had to add an extension to get the mat long enough so my feet are level. The mat should have been 6' x 4' rather than the 5' x 4' as sold.
