I've used this product for quite some time and this recent shipment has a new label boasting about improved taste. Well guess what? It's got sucralose in it now. They have claimed no artificial sweeteners until now but they conveniently left out of the Amazon listing that they just changed that part. Oh and guess what else? It's tastes completely gross now. This powder is beyond horrible to blend in drinks. I love the premade stuff but thought I would try the powder. I used a blender & hand blender, still flakes. Sad to say this is awful.

It tastes okay for protein powder. But I have to use this for bariatric surgery and as part of pre-surgery requirements we are to replace one meal a day with a protein drink but we are not supposed to mix it with anything other than water.... My issue with this one it that no matter how much mixing or shaking this mix always comes out lumpy. I have even put it in my ninja blender, but nothing gets rid of all the lumps... I tried warm water and that made it even worse. So the overall okay the taste isn't too bad but it really doesn't mix well if you want to use it without making it into a smoothie ... show more

Was not as advertised. I have used this brand for a while now and saw it listed on Amazon. Received the order today. It’s is some variant of the product. Does not meet the nutrition facts shown in the add. The brand is correct, flavor correct, supplemental quality not as advertised.

I’ve tried quite a few different shakes and this is by far the best one! At first I was mixing it with 1% milk and it was delicious. Due to carb cutting I needed to step away from that and turn to just water. The texture with the water was of course much different but the taste was still great! I started adding a tablespoon of Chocolate PB2 for added flavor and thickening and it is incredible, I actually look forward to drinking my breakfast every day! Highly recommend! ... show more

I really like Premier Protein's pre-made chocolate shakes and thought I would give the powder a try. The first time I mixed it with water, I thought it tasted awful, especially compared to the pre-made shakes. It didn't mix very well, either. I started mixing it with milk and banana in my Magic Bullet blender*. That helped a lot, and after a few of those I tried it with cold water again and it tasted fine. I switched to a blender bottle and that seemed to help with the manual mixing although there were always a few clumps left at the end but they were relatively small. Overall not a bad protein powder, but I think there are better options out there at this price. *Using the bullet blender caused it to froth up quite a bit so I had to leave some extra empty space in the cup so it didn't squeeze out when blending, if that makes sense. ... show more
