I was pretty apprehensive about buying car parts from Amazon, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised! It arrived quickly in a small box, well packaged and safe. I can't speak for the installation as I didn't do it myself, but I assume it was pretty standard. As far as performance it works great. Usually with starters you get what you pay for. I decided to take a chance because the starter was easy to replace and the car is not necessary for daily use. The part was shipped unbelievably fast and when I received it it was an alternator. However it took maybe 30 seconds to fix the problem with Amazon and they shipped immediately without the return so even with the error I received the correct starter in less than 5 days and that was over a holiday weekend so I was impressed. The starter worked perfectly no fitment issues at all and works perfectly it may not last as long but at under half the price I would not hesitate to buy again. If it gives me any trouble I will update but for now I would highly recommend. ... show more

I would have given 5 stars, except reading other reviews on how "professionakly and secure" the starter was packed, along with enclosed specs on the product, made me give only 4. It arrived with a small piece of bybble wrap and nothing else. It was literally flopping around loose in the box. And no specs or any packing slip was enclosed. Just bubble wrap and starter. The starter itself...great! Much more powerful than the last starter i ordered. Definitely a quality product at a decent price. ... show more

All other starters for my car are well over $150. Even a used one from the junkyard was $80. It was a really good deal and so far starts every time. No issues at all. I will update if I have any problems. Also no core so thats awesome.

It's a complete and utter POS last less then 4 months . Started cranking slow in January when was bought in October . Then thought it was a battery changed still did the same then it just quit working Feb 15 when I purchased oct 13 and had to wait for it to arrive I would not purchase this unless you want to change it again in a couple months ... show more
